Dear Friends and Partners,
There is absolutely no end to the goodness of our God. The past few months give testimony to that goodness as we have seen so many lives changed through the visitation of the Spirit of the Lord. The response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been phenomenal. We are reminded of the words of Peter and John as they stood before the Council in Jerusalem: “We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20).
In this day when so many negative situations and circumstances are happening in the world, we are also seeing freshness in the response to the ministry of the Word of God. Peter stood in the Temple and spoke these words about our Savior and what He is doing:
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of REFRESHING may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began (Acts 3:19-21).
There is a refreshing and a restoration coming from the presence of the Lord, and it is beginning in His Church, but it is not stopping there. We are seeing a new hunger in the world, everywhere we go.
You know that we are attempting to “slow down” somewhat as our ages are becoming more advanced; however, that doesn’t mean we are quitting. God has instructed us to become more directed by His Spirit as to where and when we minister. He has spoken to us to use His wisdom to stay focused in the way He wants us to minister in the years ahead, and we are already seeing the result.
Even though we have made our plans for the next two months, we know that God can change everything with only a moment’s notice. However, we plan to be in Canada, France, Switzerland, and Trinidad-Tobago. Our trip to Canada will be specifically to minister to Centre Évangélique Nouvelle Alliance in Ottawa, Ontario and their new church plant in Vaudreuil, Quebec. Eugene will be going alone to France and Switzerland, first to speak at the School of the Holy Spirit in Toulouse, then in several house churches in the south of France, and finally to Freedom Evangelistic Center in Geneva, Switzerland. Our final scheduled event for April will be at Agape Bible Ministries in Curepe, Trinidad-Tobago.
We ask that you continue praying for us as we prepare for these next few months. God has each event in His hands, and our only desire is to stay in the midst of His will and purpose. We are reminded of the words of this worship song that is being sung in many churches, “Jesus Be the Center,” which say,
“Jesus at the center of it all, Jesus at the center of it all.
From beginning to the end, it will always be,
It has always been you, Jesus, Jesus (Israel Houghton).
Our prayer for each of you is that God will bless you “exceedingly abundantly above all that we [you] ask or think, according to the power that works in us [you]…” (Ephesians 3:20). Remember that you are at the center of His heart and you are loved with a love that is the most powerful in the universe.
