RESTING IN TRANSITION – Ron McGatlin

God is speaking special instructions for those with ears to hear.

Extreme transition is movement beyond the normal boundaries of life.

For the natural person, it can be likened to a white-knuckle ride on a huge roller coaster with extreme rises, falls, and curves, or an extremely rough flight with crosswinds, storms, with lightning, violent bouncing, and a hard landing, only to find the terminal is shutting down due to flooding.

For the spiritual person in love with God, it can be likened to a restful nap in a special cabin on God’s private jet after a good meal on a bright sunny afternoon. With Jesus as the pilot of God’s supernatural, all-knowing, all-powerful super craft, there is  assurance of completing the transition.  

Transition can be a time when the routines of work and daily living are no longer there to govern the day. Needs beyond our ability to supply or meet simply are not there for us to go after or work to obtain. We have plenty of time to commune with God and bask in the beauty of holiness in His presence. Time for intimate prayer and worship with others in the same condition. We may not have what we thought we needed, but the manna from heaven is enough.

Bombs falling nearby, and people running here and there looking for shelter or safety. Thousands may be falling at our side and ten thousand before us, and yet it does not come near us who are ONE with God in LOVE.

Psalm 91:1-13, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.’

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 ‘Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.’”

For the most part, people, including Christians, have not been experiencing the fullness of this Psalm. Far from it, many minds are clouded by fear and anger, striving to protect and maintain a quality of life amid the chaos of darkness.

Does this word really apply to you and me now? What are the qualifications for the full reality of this Psalm in our lives now? How do we get into a position to receive the blessings of this word?

Two words in it stand out as qualifications. One is “dwell,” and the other is “love.”

Verse 1 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High.”
Verse 9 says, “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,”
Verse 14 says, “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him.”

THE KEY TO LIVING IN PSALM-91 LIFE IS DWELLING WITH GOD IN LOVE

Many believers are moving toward a far deeper reality of dwelling with or in the Most High God and setting our love upon Him. This is far deeper than allowing Him to be a part of our lives and seeking His help for our own lives. Our lives are valuable to God in carrying out His life in this world. Dwelling in Him by setting our love upon Him and intimately communing with Him is life abundant.

“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.” Isaiah 55:1.

This is the reality of Father God, in Christ, by Holy Spirit living in our mortal bodies. Thus, our mortal body has put on immortality. The immortal Most High God abides in our spirit being within our mortal bodies. All the provisions of Psalm 91 fully apply to Christ Jesus in our spirit being and fully cover our mortal bodies, especially in the vast tribulation of this great transition and transformation.

(SPECIAL NOTE: The rest of this article is not to be read lightly. God is opening and revealing deeper and greater realities and meanings than those previously held by most scholars. Love and wisdom of Spirit God within are lifting the lid from past incomplete understanding. We by no means yet have it all, but praise God, there is increased clarity of Spirit light in these latter times. Please study and meditate the following. Ron)

A GREAT MYSTERY ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
1 Corinthians 15:51-54.

When the last trump of the tribulation wars of transformation is completed, those who remain will have fully put on the immortality of Christ, and there is no more death for them. All who were dead to Spirit life reality and with only natural life are raised in Christ to have Spirit life as it is in heaven. Thus, the spiritually dead are raised without corruption. The transition and transformation are complete. The kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, is established on earth as it is in heaven.

Some, perhaps many, believers will not enter the most severe tribulation period but will go on to be with the Lord before the severe portion of this transition. Some of the passings may seem untimely to those who remain. We need to understand that the wisdom and love of all-knowing God is delivering them from what they could not bear. Thus, their early passing is a saving grace to them.

Others will endure and stand before the throne of God in this life beyond much of that which is called by many the “Great Tribulation.”

Those who have endured much or all the tribulation of the transition in the protection and provision of Psalm 91 will live yet on earth, before the throne of God, in purity, worshiping before the throne of God, Spirit to Spirit on earth with God in heaven.

“….So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:14-17.

His temple, in verse 15, in which we serve Him, is not in heaven but on earth, where He will dwell in the midst of us. The temple of God on earth is us, where we serve Him day and night as He dwells among us in this life on earth. Within and among us is Spirit God’s love bringing life on earth as it is in heaven. The throne of God is in heaven. Are you beginning to realize that physical and natural are becoming one, as earth becomes as it is in heaven?

NATURAL PHYSICAL BECOMES ONE WITH SPIRITUAL

As mankind becomes one with God, we are rejoined as Spiritual beings in redeemed natural/spiritual bodies in a restored natural/supernatural world. The seemingly great separation of natural and spiritual is dissolving as mankind is fully restored to what it was before the fall of Adam.

Satan and all evil are removed from the world, having no place in mankind to abide, and the GLORY OF GOD fills His temple/His people, and all the earth is filled with the GLORY of the LOVE OF GOD.

TRANSITION AND TRANSFORMATION FINISHED

The great transformation is completed as the world and Planet Earth return to the perfection of its design by God, in His beauty and perfect peace of heaven, displayed in the tangible, living, visible, supernatural, natural creation of the spiritual, unseen heaven.

Said another way, the unseen heaven is now made visible in the seen reality of heaven on earth.

Spirit life has overcome our natural life, making it superior and in charge. Christ is fully on the throne of our lives. Physical or natural life is not our main life. Our Spirit life is our real life. Therefore, there is no more death. We live now eternally to go before the throne of God in heaven to worship and fellowship. And continue to bring the things of heaven into this world.

All the things of this world can now be seen from eternal heaven in the light of Spirit God. This is a new level of seeing the world with its goodness and qualities, but also its lack and need, which are now being overcome and dissolved by the eternal reality of the power of pure love, heavenly understanding and wisdom of All-mighty God.
