When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. | Isaiah 43:2

I sense the Lord’s heart of encouragement to His Bride today. I believe that He is saying, “Beloved, do not fear the shaking, for you will walk through the fire unscathed; the flames will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2).”

I had a picture in my mind’s eye of myself walking with Jesus. There was fire blazing on both sides of us, and the flames were tall, but we walked right through the middle. As we walked together, side by side, the flames did not touch us. Friends, just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were not alone in the fiery furnace, we are not alone in our circumstances. Jesus is the fourth man in the fire, standing with us (Daniel 3). We will come out unscathed, fortified in the faith.

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
    and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
    and the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
    the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
    God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
    he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see what the Lord has done,
    the desolations he has brought on the earth.
He makes wars cease
    to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shields with fire.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress (Psalm 46).

God is encouraging us today, “Don’t fear the shaking; I am mighty in your midst! I am bringing you into a place of abundance. Your current testing is about to become a mighty testimony of My goodness and faithfulness in your life. Fear not, for I am with you!”

You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance (Psalm 66:11-12).
