    “Reflecting the Father”

Barbie Breathitt, North Richland Hills, TX

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” (John 14:7)

God-focused, faith-filled thoughts empower us to manifest the Kingdom of God and the righteousness of Christ. Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing in the realm of the spirit. When we behold as in a mirror the presence of God, we will learn how to express, reflect and create or manifest what we see Father God doing in the spirit.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a [reflective] mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 3:18, emphasis added)

This verse teaches us about the unlimited glory realm, not the “gifting” level of anointing.

“While we do not look at the things which are seen [the physical, material realm], but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen [natural, earthly] are temporary, but the things which are not seen [spiritual, dreams, visions, power, anointing, glory] are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18, emphasis added)

Imagination: the Language of the Spirit Realm

Jesus considered the imagination as a present reality, because the imagination, like dreams and visions, is the language of the spirit realm.

“But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)

What you focus upon—whether it is the positive, life-giving nature of God’s Kingdom of light, or things from the negative domain of darkness or from man’s carnal nature—it will bring you into some type of a spiritual connection. If you focus upon loving Jesus with all your imagination and obeying Him with all your mind and strength, you will be able to manifest His presence. (Photo via PickPik)

“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'” (Matthew 22:37)

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. [Continually] set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” (Colossians 3:1-4, emphasis added)

“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)

Connecting with the Father & Our Inner Kingdom Realm

The emotions of love are extremely important in connecting with God and our inner Kingdom realm. The eyes (internal vision or external spiritual sight) of your understanding (imagination)—the inward eyes of your heart—are being enlightened, that you may know (see and experience) what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (Ephesians 1:18-19).

As we start focusing on God in the natural or “soul” realm, we continue to love, praise and worship Him, to prayerfully advance into Christ-consciousness, to enter deeper into the spiritual realm.

“It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.” (1 Corinthians 15:44-46)

Isaac prayed that his barren wife Rebekah would bear his children. When she conceived, two nations—or two opposing natures—were in her womb. Isaac, the father, was nearly blind so he discerned things by the use of his five natural, fleshly, carnal senses. Esau, the first-born son, represented the outermost, “hairy,” carnal nature of flesh. Jacob, the smooth-skinned man, represented the Spirit that supplants the natural man of flesh—in order to receive the birth right or promised inheritance of the first-born son.

If you believe with your heart, as a Believer, that there is nothing impossible for you; you will prosper and succeed in every endeavor. In Genesis 11:1 the people spoke one language…they had all unified around one vision, so nothing could be restrained from them for which they had imagined.

To fellowship with Jesus, in order to see in the realm of the Spirit, it requires that the thoughts of your mind move into a much higher anointing—in healings, visions, miracles or the creative glory realm. The higher thoughts and ways of God will take you into the realm of the Spirit. Remember, you must be born again before you can see the Kingdom of God. You must be born of Spirit and water before you can enter the Kingdom of God or see how to ascend Jacob’s ladder.

We need to dream to see visions of God’s angels ascending and descending before we can see how to progress and ascend up the rungs of Jacob’s ladder, to enter into the door Jesus. God’s Kingdom is not of this world, but it is within us. Prayerfully, look to the distant hills and internal mountain ranges from where your inner strength comes from. (Photo via Pxhere)

    Ascending the Mountain of God

Moses had to ascend the mountain to encounter God. While there, he learned God’s higher ways; he heard and saw the demonstrations of His powerful names and attributes. Moses saw the manifestations of God’s goodness and glory. God pressed Moses into a “Rock” who is Jesus so that he could take on His image and likeness. God hid and covered Moses with His mighty hand. God showed Moses His “hinder parts” as He passed by with a display of His goodness.

God’s presence with us is constant, His perfect love casts out all fear. At times our focus on God can fluctuate from running passionately hot—to warm or cold. We must ascend into love and rest in a tranquil state of peace to have our spiritual eyes opened. Love gives us entrance into God’s realm to worship Him in spirit and truth.

We gain revelation knowledge to walk in the light of His Spirit. We know each other by the spirit and eternal fruits that we produce. The Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Faith in God’s Word empowers us to move into the spiritual realm, to see His glory and exceedingly great beauty, so that we can consciously commune with Him.

Try to stay focused on Christ Jesus, and the Kingdom of God that is within you. Always be conscious of God’s eternal presence by hungering and thirsting for His righteousness. To be more effective, intentionally look for the moving of God’s Spirit. Learn how to see the angels, the heavenly hosts, unusual creatures and the glory realm of lights. Incorporate them into your intercession by calling them, through the Father, to assign them tasks, sending them forth to accomplish the Word of God. Stir up and activate the gifts that are within you. Then stay focused on manifesting the visionary future in order to maintain your current, now-faith experience.
