God Says: “My ‘Awe-Gust’ is Coming!” by Helen Madeline Cobanov, Brisbane, Australia I woke up in the night with the words “August” whispering over and over. The whisper slowed and I heard the words, “AWE-GUST, AWE-GUST, My AWE-GUST is coming.” In the morning, I asked the Lord what He was saying and I was prompted to look up the meaning of the words “AWE” and “GUST.” AWE – an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like. GUST – A sudden, strong blast of wind. A sudden rush or burst of WATER, FIRE, SMOKE, SOUND, etc. An outburst of passionate feeling. Then the Lord showed me this “AWE-GUST” sweeping across this land with UNDENIABLE, UNEXPLAINABLE, SUPERNATURAL signs and wonders. I saw these words sweeping across the airwaves as people stood in AWE. “O God, to the farthest corners of the planet, people will stand in awe, startled and stunned by Your signs and wonders…” (Ps. 65:8 TPT) Then He highlighted the words “WATER, FIRE, SMOKE and SOUND” to me. He showed me how each one of these represented signs of GOD’S GLORY, HIS POWER, HIS PRESENCE, and HIS SPIRIT throughout Scripture. He said, “I am coming as a mighty AWE-GUST across this land. My Spirit is going to rush in like a mighty wind, into your churches, your homes, businesses, schools, hospitals, and into the air you breathe and into your very surroundings I will come. I Will Pour Out! The Sound of My Heart “My living water will be poured out, My holy fire will come down, My presence will be thick, like smoke filling the atmosphere; and a sound will ring out across this land, a sound like no other. “The sound of My heart! It will be sung out, spoken out, preached, played and prayed across this land. People will see Me and feel Me in ways they have never experienced before as I AWAKEN them and they will be moved in AWE of who I AM.” “In the last days,” God says, “I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. “I will show wonders in the heavens above, and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (see ACTS 2:17-22 NIV). You Will Be “Floored” Then I looked down at the floor and the Lord showed me the word “AWE” written on it. The Lord said, “FLOORED WITH AWE, Helen – My Bride will be FLOORED WITH AWE and completely UNDONE, FACE DOWN, OVERWHELMED, OVERCOME with the goodness of who I AM. “WAKE UP SLEEPERS!
