While studying on the subject of justification, sanctification and glorification, three keys were shown on the same ring this morning:

The 3 keys symbolically relate to keys that provide knowledge, wisdom and understanding. That they were on the same ring also signifies that all 3 topics belong together for an earthly and heavenly purpose.  Consider the following verses:

And I (Jesus) will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. ” (Mat.16:18-19)

In these verses, the Lord appears to confer legislative and absolving power to Peter for the Church at that time; meaning that it appears this precious Apostle was given power to grant admission into heaven.  But within the context of this particular vision, these verses take on more light when considering the process of  justification, sanctification and glorification.

JUSTIFICATION:  Applies (immediately) to contrite Believers who, with faith, repent, accept and believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour.

SANCTIFICATION:  A lifelong – and struggling – process by which the Holy Spirit and the Word progressively sets apart a Believer unto God. The Believer increasingly lives a life of holiness, conforming to the will of God and is changed into the image of the Son.

GLORIFICATION:  The glorified body in heaven.  When Believers return home to heaven, to one of the awesome mansions the Lord has prepared for them.  They are no longer accountable to third dimensional laws but are vested in a spirit body akin to the one John saw at the threshold during his visit to heaven.  This supernatural miraculous process takes place between heaven and earth when the soul is in transit to its heavenly home.  In a vision, it was shown that as a soul wends its way up the stairway to heaven, it is adorned with a white gown symbolic of the glorious body.  They become like the angels in heaven but yet are so much more because they are children of GOD, made and conformed into the image of the Son.

In brief, justification, sanctification and glorification brilliantly espouses the truth that whatsoever a Believer binds and looses takes expression in heaven and on earth; from the moment that we are justified on earth to the moment that we are glorified in our new heavenly bodies. These are keys given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ’s finished works on the Cross when He paid the Adamic debt and rent in two the temple veil signifying that a way into the most holy of holies was made available to GOD’s heirs on earth.  That is to say, the way to heaven is open to all His obedient and faithful Sons and Daughters. Praise GOD. We are so, so blessed.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. : (2 Cor. 3:18)

    Keep the Faith,
