In a dream recently I saw a woman – a Believer who was also Catholic – standing on stairs that led upwards. Immediately, I began fervently praying in tongues and the Lord’s Prayer. I had no idea who this woman was but she looked familiar. The next day on her deathbed and in a semi-comatose state and barely above a whisper , a loved one said: “Going up the stairs is hard work”. My heart skipped a beat. I asked her why that was. She whispered back: “I do not have my slippers on.”

This dream and experience is better understood when exposed to the Light of the divinely-inspired Word. Going up the stairs symbolized this woman’s transition from earth to heaven. The stairs is the way the Lord Jesus Christ made available through His death on the Great Cross of Redemption and Resurrection for all who will follow Him with faith and belief in His finished works. But here is the thing. The steps of sanctification we take to get there are not always easy for reasons known only to respective souls and GOD. To console her I told her that the reason she was barefoot was because she was standing on holy ground. That GOD the FATHER was waiting for her at the top of these stairs. Most importantly that all of her sins are forgiven through the Lord Jesus Christ’s blood sacrifice. That GOD is LOVE!! I took her frail hand in mine and asked her if I could help her climb. She nodded. Upwards we went until I could no longer accompany her. Moments later she whispered: “LE BON DIEU EST AVEC NOUS ” otherwise said “OUR GOOD GOD IS WITH US.” She was in HIS presence!!! Everyone in that room at that moment was in HIS presence!!! I heard her pray and soon thereafter she fell into a coma. At 3:45 that morning of the same day she expired her last human breath and stepped into Eternity.

Yesterday in vision the Holy Spirit showed me stairs, again going upwards, and on each step a beautiful Cross of Light. The Cross of Light symbolized the truth of Redemption – Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. It is this Light – this truth – that lit the way for our dearly loved one to climb this stairway between heaven and earth. It is also the overcomer’s steps, the smaller crosses we are called to bear and overcome in truth. Praise GOD and thank you Jesus.

We retreated to the cottage. While there, I began reading bible verses in a booklet I had picked up at the hospital some weeks back while my loved one was undergoing medical tests. IT is entitled: TRUE NORTH. And you know, that precious Holy Spirit of Truth, will always confirm His Work in wondrous and beautiful ways. By no small coincidence, these are the verses I began reading:

Then Nathanael exclaimed, ‘Rabbi, you are the Son of God—the King of Israel!’ Jesus asked him, ‘Do you believe this just because I told you I had seen you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.’ Then he said, ‘I tell you the truth, you will all see heaven open and the ANGELS of God going up and down on the Son of Man, THE ONE WHO IS THE STAIRWAY BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH’ ” (John 1:47-51)

This precious Woman, who was being changed into an angel, was indeed standing on sanctified grounds.  She was standing on the holy stairway – on the Rock of Israel: Jesus Christ who is the One and only way to  the FATHER of LIGHT in heaven.

“But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto THE ANGELS; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said. And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.”

    Thank you Jesus.
    Keep the Faith,
    Suzanne
