KINGDOM LIFE GATHERINGS – Ron McGatlin

Tent revivals, massive worship gatherings, and spiritual outpourings are bringing fresh life to stale Christians and new life to unbelievers. These Spirit gatherings are currently extremely productive and becoming much more prevalent.

Many people are desperately searching for answers and ways out of or around the world’s troubling conditions.

The simple yet profound word of God’s love and salvation are the beginnings of new life. Powerful experiences of God’s Holy Spirit bringing supernatural healing, words of knowledge, and words of wisdom from above can encourage people to turn their lives over to God.

The birth of their new life creates a desire or hunger for spiritual food needed to grow.

The current revivals and Spirit outpourings may seem very much like the recent twentieth-century revivals or evangelical and Pentecostal-style movements. However, they are not the same and are taking us to a different result or outcome.

The twentieth-century historical revivals usually ended with the converts being connected to lukewarm churches to be “discipled.” Their passionate revival spirit and excitement soon faded and eventually many returned to their old lives or they stayed and adjusted to the lukewarm church systems.

God is calling now for a new type of kingdom-life gatherings to replace the lukewarm church systems in making kingdom disciples of the converts.

SO, WHAT IS DIFFERENT NOW?

Current revivals and Spirit outpourings are leading to the reality of God’s love kingdom changing the world now and not just going to heaven in the afterlife. If a revival is not moving us toward the love kingdom of God it is at best a temporary boost of Spirit activity and new births, and at worst it is a vaccine immunizing people against the reality of the kingdom of God coming forth in this present world.

The lukewarm church systems must be changed or get out of the way of the reality of the love of God bringing forth the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus from heaven now within the true sons and daughters of God.

God’s design is that revival leads to a pure holy love relationship with God. Revival is to lead to the love kingdom of God/kingdom of heaven coming forth on Earth. It leads us to the governance of God’s love re-establishing families, communities, and nations in the order of God’s love.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN HIS PEOPLE.

Christ in us by the Holy Spirit is bringing forth His love kingdom within us to flow out in love to the world around us. Thus, establishing the love kingdom of King Jesus. Every facet of life will be affected by the kingdom of God. Eventually, every aspect of all life in the world will be ordered by the love of God.

Jesus did not come to establish just the gospel of salvation. Yes, salvation is the first part of the Gospel of the Kingdom. The gospel that Jesus preached, demonstrated, and is now establishing, is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. It is much more about heaven coming to earth in us than it is about us going to heaven when we die.

Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom signs followed and salvations occurred. (Matthew 4:23).

When Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,” He was talking about the Gospel of the Kingdom. (Mark 16:15-18).

When He said to make disciples of all nations, He was speaking of making Kingdom Disciples. (Matthew 28:18-20).

When He said this gospel must be preached to the world and then the end comes, He was speaking of the Gospel of the Kingdom. (Matthew 24:14).

KINGDOM DISCIPLESHIP

Supernatural signs and wonders are demonstrations of the power and love of the Kingdom of God.

God’s love, power, and wisdom are to be normal in every kingdom believer now in every part and facet of the kingdom believer’s life in this world. Every kingdom believer has the God-given ability and the responsibility to bring forth the will and plan of Spirit God from heaven into this natural life now.

Kingdom discipling involves the discovery and fitting together of all this in the kingdom reality of life now in this world. It involves our walking in our divine calling to serve God by bringing forth His will and purpose in this life now by His power within us by His Spirit.

KINGDOM SONS AND DAUGHTERS

God’s kingdom sons and daughters serve God by caring for or tending to mankind and all the created world. We are empowered spiritually and supernaturally to commune in love with God to know His will or plan for our specific piece or part in bringing His order and purpose for His people and His world.

The kingdom of God is LOVE from and for God in mankind for mankind and this world, and is the core ingredient of all life and governance in this world.

Peace on earth will never become reality until the kingdom of God fills the hearts and lives of mankind. This is only brought about by kingdom believers making kingdom disciples of all nations.

This can only be done by our Christ and King, Jesus, fully abiding in his people.

THE GLORIOUS SPIRIT GATHERING

This is the coming or manifesting of Jesus and the glorious gathering. “…..You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:22-24.
(Please read now: Hebrews 12:18-29).

JESUS AND PEACE ON EARTH

Jesus truly came to bring peace to the kingdom-ordered world that God loves. That peace reigns in His kingdom now within us and in the finished saved and restored world that He is forming now.

Wherever His kingdom reigns peace prevails.

However, where the kingdom of God and His love is NOT……

Jesus said, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:34-37.

Jesus did not come to bring peace to a rebellious people of an ungodly evil world.

HE CAME TO BRING VICTORY!

Jesus brings the victory of light over darkness, of righteousness, and everlasting life over sin and death, the victory of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:57-58.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27.

“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32.
