the small things

Be ready, changes are coming in the next three months.

that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of

For the past twenty years, the Lord has given me many lessons and
opportunities in picking up the small things, most often in the way of
finding change. I too have had several dreams of finding coins. With a
smile in his eyes, I was told I was one of the ones who would bring change.

For the most part, finding change gives/brings cryptic answers.
Sometimes, just the “finding” was an answer for me, other times it was the
dates of the coins, or the type of coins, pennies, nickels, dimes or
quarters. They have been His way of speaking to me. Yesterday was no
different.

In my late afternoon walk, I was where I frequented. I was prompted to look
at something in the grass beside me. As I bent over to pick up the penny I
saw another and then another. I was soon on my knees picking them up, for a
total of 150 pennies.

Be open to God. Be willing to bend down, or even get on your knees for the
small things in life. Take possession of what He has provided for you. Know
that He is ever to communicate with you, to share His heart with those
willing to listen and obey. As for the 150 pennies, those represent a number
of days, see Genesis 7:24.

Interesting, and insightful. Love the way God works to give us these “clues” to unraveling His mysteries, and lead us.

Also interesting is that I came across 3 things on my walk with a friend on Sunday that I am still trying to unravel the meaning of. I think it’s also important the sequence in which they presented themselves to me. This was a walk on a back, country road with no traffic – in the woods and only a few residents.

First, I saw small droplets of blood down the middle of the road. Probably, and unfortunately from an animal with an injury… Second, I glanced past my friend onto the other side of the road, and there was a discarded, windshield wiper. Third, on the way back, we came across a brand new wrench in the middle of the road.

If anyone gets hit with any insights, please let me know!
