[TheFederalist.com] Several scientist members of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) want more influence over governments to bring about their radical and potentially deadly climate policies. “Five lead authors of IPCC reports” insisted “that scientists should be given the right to make policy prescriptions and, potentially, to oversee their implementation by the 195 states signed up to the UN framework convention on climate change,” The Guardian’s Arthur Neslen reported Thursday. “At some point we need to say that if you want to achieve this aim set by policymakers then certain policies need to be implemented,” said IPCC Vice-Chair Sonia Seneviratne. The “policies” Seneviratne is referring to are “fossil fuel cuts and phaseouts,” reported Neslen… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Click Here to read.

“Other countries should also understand that it is impossible on the one hand to support the elimination of Hamas, and on the other hand to call for an end to the war that will prevent the elimination of Hamas.” -Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

(Jerusalem, Israel) — [CBN News] Dozens more Hamas terrorists have surrendered to Israel. The videos show them stripped down to make sure they’re not carrying any explosives or suicide belts. (Screengrab image)

Israel’s military says these surrenders show that Hamas is crumbling, but cautioned it’s still far from the end.

Israel Defense Forces Spokesman, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said, “There are a great many terrorists who have surrendered there, and this is a significant thing because these are signs that terrorists who are in difficult strongholds have decided to surrender.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for more Hamas members to surrender.

“It will take more time, the war is in full swing, but this is the beginning of the end for Hamas,” Netanyahu stated. “I say to the Hamas terrorists: it is over. Don’t die for (Hamas chief Yahya) Sinwar. Surrender—now.”

New developments raised concerns of a widening war, as Hezbollah increased its rocket fire into northern Israel over the weekend, and the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen threatened to block any ships carrying supplies to Israel.

The United Nations General Assembly is scheduled to vote on a non-binding resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. Netanyahu thanked the US for its veto last Friday of a binding Security Council ceasefire resolution.

“Other countries should also understand that it is impossible on the one hand to support the elimination of Hamas, and on the other hand to call for an end to the war that will prevent the elimination of Hamas,” the prime minister said. “Therefore, Israel will continue our just war to eliminate Hamas and to achieve the other war goals we have set.”

Meanwhile, in the US Senate, two opposing views on the war surfaced between Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Sanders told CBS Face the Nation it would be irresponsible for the US to give Netanyahu another $10 billion to wage Israel’s war against Hamas. Still, at a conference in Qatar, Senator Graham said the US has Israel’s back.

“The last time a bunch of people tried to kill all the Jews 80 years ago there was no Israel,” said Graham. “So the one thing I can tell you, if it’s your goal to kill all the Jews, you’re going to have one Hell of a fight on your hands. And the United States of America is going to stand with Israel without animosity toward the Palestinians.”

On the international front, thousands of Europeans in Berlin and Brussels marched against anti-Semitism.

Joël Rubinfeld, President of the Belgian League Against Anti-Semitism, declared, “(We are here) because there is a huge increase of anti-Semitism in Belgium since October 7th. We (witnessed) more than a 1,000% of increase. So we are living in a very complicated period. And also to send a message to the Jewish community of Belgium to tell them that they are not alone.”

With Israel facing a two-front war in Gaza and on the northern border, Herzi Halevi, the IDF chief of staff, told a group of Israeli officers, “For the return to all the communities, both in the south and in the north—first, we need to return to a different situation and return to both safety and a sense of security. There is a military way to do this, the beginning of which is also what you are doing here.”

However, a distressing video unfolds as Hamas terrorists are captured diverting humanitarian aid intended for Gazans, revealing a stark contrast to Israel’s humanitarian efforts.

In this video you can see Hamas stealing crucial food supplies, highlighting the unfortunate reality of aid diversion in the region.

The new ‘disciplinary’ plan “must take into consideration the impact of issues related to the student’s trauma, race, gender identity/presentation, sexual orientation, disability, social emotional learning, and restorative justice as appropriate for the student.”

[MRCTV.org] Portland (Oregon) Public Schools faculty will be adjudicating discipline by weighing students’ racial and gender identities under a new collective bargaining agreement. The agreement states that its purpose is “to minimize the use of exclusionary discipline and to maximize instructional time, while repairing harm done within the school community.” (Screengrab image)

The agreement further delineates that the disciplinary plan “utilizes research based in racial equity and social justice, restorative justice, and trauma informed.”

The disciplinary plan reveals in detail what it means to be “informed” by racial equity and social justice. In the case of “continuous disruptive student behavior,” the plan authorizes the school to create a “support plan” for the student. This plan “must take into consideration the impact of issues related to the student’s trauma, race, gender identity/presentation, sexual orientation, disability, social emotional learning, and restorative justice as appropriate for the student.”

Furthermore, the document also requires that all staff submit to “implicit bias, antiracism, and culturally responsive practices training.”

Both students and parents have expressed strong reservations about the policy, which was negotiated on November 26. “How do they know what to intervene with?” Lincoln High School senior Casey Marotta asked in an interview with Portland’s KGW8 News. Rebecca Heinrichs, a parent, argued that the policy “takes away the dignity of the child and the choice in autonomy,” referring to the new policy as being full of “implied racism” and “completely backwards.”

It appears that, in the interest of racial and social equity, Portland Public Schools is ironically choosing to treat students differently on the basis of their skin color and sex.

“…This homeschool registration proposal not only disregards parental rights but also misguidedly focuses on regulating a successful and legitimate educational choice…” -Israel Wayne, Michigan Christian Homeschool Network

(Lansing, MI) — [LifeSiteNews.com] Liberal Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and fellow Democrats are calling for more stringent state oversight of homeschooling in the Great Lakes State, ostensibly for the sake of catching fraud and abuse, but critics fear the real purpose is so state officials can meddle in parental rights. (Image: Unsplash-Jessica Lewis)

The Detroit Free Press reported that some lawmakers are calling for homeschool students to be registered with the state, lamenting the fact that Michigan is one of 11 states not to count or register them. Democrat state Rep. Matt Koleszar claimed that “abusive parents are taking advantage of that to avoid being found out,” whereas in schools, “students are in the presence of mandated reporters and adults who might be able to recognize abuse.”

Supporters cite the recent case of two Michigan couples who have been charged with adopting almost 30 children, whom they allegedly mentally and physically abused, for the purpose of pocketing almost $1 million that was meant to go to the children’s care.

“One reason why this abuse was able to go undetected in the Flore home … was due to the fact that all the children were homeschooled,” Nessel claimed. “There has to be some sort of monitoring so that those children also benefit from those protections.”

Others pushed back on the notion that homeschooling was to blame, or that registering all homeschool students was the correct solution.

“Instead of exploiting a false political narrative about home education to make headlines, Representative Koleszar’s time would be better spent focusing on improving Michigan’s struggling public school system, focusing his attention on the real problems that plague the state’s Child Protective Services and the abuse of children in union-backed schools,” responded Michigan Christian Homeschool Network vice president Israel Wayne…

“We hope that through our work people, many see the myth of ‘safe abortion’ for what it is: a lie invented by people who make huge profits out of killing innocent lives and maiming women…” -Operation Rescue’s President, Troy Newman

[LiveAction.org] Abortion activists used to say abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare,” but a recent series of medical emergencies at Hope Clinic for Women in Granite City, Illinois, reveal a starkly different reality, according to reports from Operation Rescue. (Image: Pixabay)

In a span of less than a week in November, the abortion facility reported three medical emergencies.

NOVEMBER 3RD

Emergency services were called for a 35-year-old patient showing signs of a possible seizure during a procedure. She did not appear to have any medical history of epilepsy or seizures, and asked for an ambulance to take her to Barnes Jewish Hospital, located across the state border in Missouri, 17 minutes away. Hope Clinic frequently sends their injured patients there, even though there is a hospital located right across the street from the abortion facility.

The woman reportedly had experienced two seizure episodes at the time of the 911 call. It’s not clear what caused the seizure, but Operation Rescue reported that possible causes could have been improper anesthesia injections and hemorrhage.

NOVEMBER 7

Another emergency call involved a 40-year-old patient with excessive bleeding and uterine inflammation. Hemorrhaging after an abortion is often caused by a laceration or perforation of one of the reproductive organs, like the cervix or uterus. However, the staffer refused to give any information to the 911 dispatcher letting paramedics know what happened to the patient, why she was hemorrhaging, or what kind of care she would need.

NOVEMBER 9

A 21-year-old patient required advanced cardiac life support after an unspecified post-procedure complication. These incidents, shrouded in ambiguity, underscore the grave risks associated with abortion procedures, including potential complications like uterine perforation and seizures.

However, it was clear that the patient’s condition was serious; the staffer requested Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) equipment, indicating the patient may have been suffering a cardiac arrest, stroke, or other cardiovascular emergency.

Disturbingly, these emergencies aren’t isolated. Live Action News previously reported that Hope Clinic for Women has been the scene of multiple life-threatening incidents recently, part of a tally of at least 20 medical emergencies this year alone. Shockingly, such distressing occurrences have been downplayed ever since Illinois became a refuge for abortions, due to stringent laws in neighboring states that protect the preborn. The state hosts around 10,000 women from out-of-state seeking abortions each year.

In the wake of these incidents, Operation Rescue rightly emphasizes a clear truth—abortion is dangerous, harming women and ending the lives of preborn children.

“We hope that through our work people, many see the myth of ‘safe abortion’ for what it is: a lie invented by people who make huge profits out of killing innocent lives and maiming women,” Operation Rescue’s President, Troy Newman, said in a statement. “In this dreadful process the Abortion Cartel calls ‘healthcare,’ unsuspecting women are hurt and some of them even die. We pray that one day every state in our nation may see through these lies, and save women and their babies from such horror and pain.”
