Prepare the Way Ministry – Bill Campbell
Dear wonderful Friends and Sponsors,

Thank for your love, prayers, and all the support you provide to help us in the U.S. and in Uganda.

We want to thank each of you who attended or watched online the Celebration of Life services to honor the life of Linda Campbell, those who gave to the memorial fund, and those of you who have prayed for all of us at Prepare the Way Ministry during and since that time. Dr. Bill, his family, all of the staff in Uganda, and I thank you so much! We will remember Linda’s great influence, amazing love, and her life and accomplishments all through our days, as she now worships the One that she loves!

Dr. Bill Campbell and his son, Brian Campbell, recently returned from their trip to Uganda November 10-11, 2022. They are planning to go to Uganda again in January 2023. All the toys for King’s Kids Learning Center went with them on the plane and arrived at the school. Dr. Bill and Brian carried over the Faith Bible College Uganda graduation certificates and attended the graduation service, so 63 people graduated from Faith Bible College Uganda in late October. You can see the pictures on our PTWM Facebook pages.

Prepare the Way Ministry children are doing well. The children at Prepare the Way Children’s Center (Hope Children’s Home) are a lively, fun bunch! The students at King’s Kids Learning Center are learning rapidly. The 3 churches are growing and having many activities like Bible studies, Prayer nights, Choirs, and Worship Jams! The youth are in discipleship classes now as they are on break from school. Faith Bible College classes are ongoing in 4 locations in Uganda. There is a large Prison Ministry evangelism team going to a maximum-security prison each Wednesday to disciple 50+ prisoners.

Dr. Bill Campbell, Amy Campbell, Debby Spruill and Deedee Garcia will travel this week to Minnesota for a Christmas Tea on December 3, 2022. Please pray for us as we go.

Giving Tuesday and End of Year Giving

Would you please consider giving to Prepare the Way Ministry on Giving Tuesday or at the End of the Year 2022?

Giving Tuesday is a new global day for doing good by giving to non-profits, which is held on the first Tuesday of December each year. Giving Tuesday became a popular day to give. In 2022, Giving Tuesday is December 6. (Please do not give to PTWM on Facebook, as they hold the money for 3 months, and many donations through Facebook did not get to us at PTWM). And please help us by making sure all 2022 donations are postmarked no later than December 31, 2022. Any donations received with postmarks in 2023 will be on your PTWM annual receipt for 2023. Thank you.

Projects:

  1. Finish the New Boys’ Dorm at the Mission Base: The workers have finished the outer brick walls, the roof, and mudding the outside walls of the building. They are installing the doors and windows now. (See pictures on Facebook, Journey with Prepare the Way page). There will still be much work to be done inside the building: walls, floors, electricity, painting, etc. We are hoping to have the building finished for the next school year.
  2. A new copier for King’s Kids Learning Center: $1,500 for the copier, several copier cartridges at $50 each, and a laptop = $600, and making a very secure room for the copier = $1,000, for a grand total of $3,500.

  3. Construct a small Building near PTWM Church in the village of Kalagala, Uganda
    – A 2-room building for ministers to stay in while ministering on the weekends: $4,000.

Here is a hint of what we think are things to come: Planning for the future in the village of Kalagala: When we have finished some of the other projects, we would like to add a Nursery School inside the PTWM Church Kalagala soon, followed by lower primary classes after that. We are in the planning stage for the Nursery School, but first we need a place for people to stay, so our ministers can stay for a while, and we can safely store equipment. Kalagala is a village where PTWM Evangelism teams have ministered and then started a church which is now 3 years old. Kalagala is 20 kilometers further down the road that goes past PTWM Children’s Center (Hope Children’s Home) and the village of Sseya.

General Fund: We also need money in the General Fund to keep everything going in Uganda and in the US each month. If you would like to give to the General Fund, let us know. You can call for more information.

Would you please consider sponsoring one of our children, youth, or young adults?

For children, we have 2 village programs in 2 different areas of Uganda this year:

1). Sponsor a child from Sseya Village: For these children who have so little, 2 meals per day and education are included at King’s Kids Learning Center. King’s Kids Learning Center has almost 400 children enrolled. Many families can be reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ! There is Prepare the Way Ministry Church Sseya meeting at one end of the KKLC Primary School Building! We help the children go to school through sponsorships for $35 per month.

2. Sponsor a child from Pabbo. For these children from Pabbo in northern Uganda, who have so little and have been through so much rejection, trauma, and extreme poverty, hope is being restored with the opportunity to go to Hope Nursery and Primary School. Bishop Bosco started the school, but he passed to heaven in 2020; his son, Ocaya Anthony, is now facilitating the school in the Pabbo area. Prepare the Way Ministry is helping 10 children with school fees through sponsorships for $35 per month.

Sponsor a Youth for secondary education who grew up at Hope Children’s Home – Those teens who have finished Primary 7 at King’s Kids Learning Center, will move to Agape Youth House at the Mission Base for their teen years and secondary education in town: $100 per month. We have several teens who need sponsors. (Two sponsors can also share a sponsorship at $50 per month).

Sponsor a Young Adult, who grew up at Hope Children’s Home. We need sponsors to team up with other sponsors to help our young adults go to college or trade schools. We want to prepare our young adults, who were once orphans or living at too much risk, to be ready to transition to taking care of themselves and maybe a family one day. They will need a job or a business for that. (It sometimes takes a team of 1-5 sponsors for $50-$100 per month to pay the tuition for young adults. (The cost is much less in Uganda than in the US for classes). Together we can help them see their dreams fulfilled and reduce poverty in Uganda.

We want to thank you, sponsors and friends of the ministry, for being part of our Prepare the Way Ministry team to achieve God’s purposes in Uganda. Everyone who gives makes a huge difference, restoring hope in the lives of people! You can make a huge difference by praying and giving, or sponsoring a child, youth, or young adult! Please ask God what you should do. We know that God will bless you for all you do to bring forth the Kingdom of God! We are so blessed and grateful to have you with us!

We love you and bless each one of you,

Dr. Bill Campbell
