TWO REALMS BECOMING AS ONE – Ron McGatlin
There is great trouble and much distress in the world today. All of the many problems and painful tragedies in this world stem from the continued separation of the natural or physical realm from the Spirit realm of God.
As human beings we were designed to function in both the spirit realm and the natural or physical realm. In the Garden of Eden there was no separation between the Spirit realm of the creator and the natural realm of the created.
Christ Jesus has fully provided the way to restore the Spirit realm and the natural realm as one.
Father God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit in mankind is all about establishing the full reality of the kingdom of heaven, the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
HEAR AND SEE BY THE SPIRIT THE TRUE KINGDOM MESSAGE IN REVELATION 21
The figurative symbolic language of the Spirit hides the message from those who are not ready to receive it. In recent decades the revelation of the kingdom of God coming to earth now by Christ Jesus with Father God in the Holy Spirit in His people is removing the cover and revealing the meaning of the figurative symbolic language of the written word of God.
Limited revelational understanding of the real kingdom of God on earth caused many limited and erroneous theological views to come forth from the minds and hearts of men seeking to mentally understand the words of God.
When the truth of the word of the kingdom clicks into place in the hearts of God’s people in whom Christ Jesus now lives by the Holy Spirit, the veiled figurative symbolic language of the written word of God begins to open to us.
Deep mysteries of kingdom truth begin to arise from the Spirit into our hearts and minds. The whole Bible takes on a new light and life of great satisfaction as all the fragmented pieces of truth and understanding begin to come together and fit perfectly together.
The parts that were difficult to understand become crystal clear and come together to form the true GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM as Christ Jesus and His disciples proclaimed it in the first century.
REVELATION 21
In verse one God speaks of a new heaven and a new earth and that there is no more sea in it.
This is the same new creation as a person in Christ is described in 2 Corinthians 5:17. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Obviously, the physical body did not die and decay in a grave or be burned to ashes in a fire. The person in Christ is free and redeemed to be as God originally created mankind to be. In Christ we are no longer the same lost and spiritually dead person, but are alive in God.
In this same way the earth and the heavens around it are to become a new creation. The earth will have endured the cleansing fire of God that will have removed from it all that is not of God.
The planet and all that God has made on it will not be destroyed by the cleansing fire. The beautiful world of God’s creation will be “born again” and grow forth on the same planet. God will give us beauty for ashes and joy for mourning in the new creation of this world. (Isaiah 61:3).
The emphasis here is that God is not fixing up the evil works at work in the world by making them better or less vile.
The evil darkness that has been given space to rule in this world by man’s foolishness will be destroyed, dissolved completely.
In the same way God does not save us by making our evil behavior better or less vile. Our old man must be dissolved, destroyed and no longer exist. Mankind must be redeemed, and made a new creation before the world can be made a new creation.
Christ by the Holy Spirit in us on earth appropriates the work of God in Christ Jesus to redeem the earth. To cause it to be born again as a new creation in the perfect design of God as in the original Garden of Eden.
God is not dissolving His created Planet Earth. His fire is dissolving the darkness of evil and all that it has built in this world. God loves the world and sent His Son to save it. (John 3:16).
Mankind, having been given dominion, must first be redeemed to appropriate the redemption of the world to the kingdom of God.
NO MORE SEA
Well, what about the no more sea? In the figurative symbolic language of God, the sea represents the unsaved masses of lost people that are unstable and driven about by every wind and often in an uproar of turbulent storms.

NEW JERUSALEM THE BRIDE CITY
Verse two and three speaks of the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven as a Bride prepared for her husband. Again, in beautiful holy figurative symbolic language Spirit God proclaims the awesome word of the kingdom coming from heaven to earth in His purified Bride.
“City” is sometimes used figuratively in scripture as a picture of a corporate structure of life. A spiritual community for the protection and well-being of its citizens, governed by spiritual laws, ruled by a spiritual hierarchy, which determines the personality of the city and the quality of life within the city. A city is structured by patterns of life. A great city is a capital or ruling city, whose patterns reach out beyond its city walls or limits to govern a greater area.
The city, New Jerusalem, is the ruling city of God coming from heaven bringing its patterns and ways of life in the Bride, people of God, cleansed and purified to rule with God establishing heavens ways on earth by the presence of God in His faithful Bride, redeeming and restoring mankind in whom Christ Jesus abides on earth.
Revelation 21:2-3: “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.’”
G0D HIMSELF WITH US
The manifest presence of God fully with us, God in Christ by the Holy Spirit dwelling in us abiding with us always. We become the temple of God on earth.
Living corporately with others in the manifest presence of God consumed in His love and overcome by His glory now in this life of heaven on earth.
God wipes away all of our tears. Notice it does not say that there are no tears along the way but that all are wiped away by God.
Now and forever in love with God, there is no more separation from God which is death. There is no more death in this life on earth or after we leave this body.
Revelation 21:4-5: “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”’
In this New Jerusalem, ruling city of God in us personally and with us corporately is the reality of His manifest presence. We are overcomers, Sons of God, a flowing fountain of living water, and we are inheriting all things.
Revelation 21:6-7: And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
THE DEAD AND THE SECOND DEATH
To be alive on earth but separated from God is death by sin, sickness, disease, poverty, plagues and violence of every sort. There is no peace and no real life in separation from God.
All can turn toward God and be saved. God is not willing that any should perish. It is not the will of God but the will of man that separates from God. Sin and death are works of the devil that come to steal, kill and destroy life in God.
In New Jerusalem nothing enters that will defile or corrupt.
Revelation 21:8: “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Dear friend, please keep in mind that this is all still talking about our lives now here on earth as well as the life to come. Our part is to do our part in bringing heaven to earth to rule on earth as it is in heaven. Draw near to God and the devil will flee.
James 4:8: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
As the kingdom of heaven comes from heaven to earth in our hearts and lives the New Jerusalem Ruling City of the Kingdom of God is made manifest in the Bride of the First Born of many Sons coming to glory.
Hebrews 12:18-24: For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, 19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. 20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” 21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”
“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant….”
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29.
