“Australia: Land of the Shining Ones”

Prophetic word released on January 29, 2021:
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” (Isaiah 60:1-3)
Invitation to Rise and Shine!
The Lord recently showed me that the time for AUSTRALIA to arise and shine has come. This isn’t a commandment, but an INVITATION to join what He is already doing in this great nation!
In prayer, I saw a picture of a map of the world. There was a great darkness spreading across the map, and there were pockets of light and glory across the globe, in ALL NATIONS, which functioned like oil and water – they could not mix, and the pockets of glory STOOD OUT across the map, untouched by the darkness and ready to spread rapidly against the forces of the enemy.
I asked the Lord specifically about Australia, the country where I live. I then saw a picture of Australia literally popping up off the map, beginning to shine brighter and brighter as it lifted up OUT OF THE DARKNESS. (Photo via Pixabay)
I hear the Lord say, “The born-again in Australia will find that they CAN’T HELP BUT SHINE!” Australia is about to shine a bright light against the canopy of darkness that has tried to cover the nations. Australia is rising in this new era to shine for Jesus like never before!
“…that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness…” (1 Peter 2:9)
The born-again in Australia are beginning to awaken with a boldness to announce JESUS, the ONE who has called them out of darkness!
I was reminded of the land’s native glow worms, which are only found in Australia and New Zealand. These worms light up caves and dark places, and catch insects which are known to harm humans, animals and crops. Entering into a glow worm cave is a most spectacular, breath-taking sight as there are thousands of worms that shine like the stars in the sky. I felt the Lord’s pleasure over the Church in Australia, that they will TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS, and begin to SHINE LIKE STARS FOREVER!
“And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3)
New Understanding for a New Era
In the last few eras, the Australian Church stood out and shone brightly in the areas of worship, song-writing, and cultivating a healthy prophetic movement. In this new era, I feel the Lord is giving Australia a NEW UNDERSTANDING of her identity and birthright. By accepting the truth of her identity, the Body in Australia will see that they are POWERFUL, BRAVE, and a WEAPON of warfare across the earth. They will begin to stand UNAPOLOGETIC, UNASHAMED, UNINTIMIDATED and completely UNRESTRAINED. They will stand firm in CONVICTION and not waiver. They are a force to be reckoned with, and they WILL destroy the plans of the enemy.
“You are My hammer and weapon of war: with you I break nations in pieces; with you I destroy kingdoms.” (Jeremiah 51:20)
As this great nation continues to keep her eyes upon JESUS Christ alone, the kingdom of darkness will not be able to advance. As the Australian Church stands firmly upon the truth of who she is in Christ and the fact that she has been called OUT OF DARKNESS and into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9), and as she allows the Word of Christ to dwell richly within her (Colossians 3:16), she will shine brighter than she has ever comprehended, hoped or imagined for herself.
A Bonfire of Glory
The fire of God will burn so hot in Australia, any extra dross will be burned up. There will be no space for shadows, no space for compromise, no space for apathy or self. It will be a bonfire of glory that will be seen across the earth! (Photo via Unsplash)
I saw that Australia will shine so bright across the globe that OTHER NATIONS will be drawn to her light. I see mass salvations across the whole of the continent, as people literally flock to Australia to be a part of what Jesus is doing across the lands. I see that Australia will arise and shine in signs, wonders and miracles to confirm the reality of Jesus as the simple Gospel is preached (Mark 16:20).
The Lord showed me that as all eyes are looking up, turned toward Jesus, it will cause the whole earth to look at Jesus as well, just to see what we in Australia are gazing at.
Finally, I feel strongly that the nation of Australia has been a bit “hidden” for a time, but it is for SUCH AS TIME AS THIS.
“He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand He hid me; He made me a polished arrow; in His quiver He hid me away. And He said to me, ‘You are My servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.'” (Isaiah 49:2-3)
You are His servant, AUSTRALIA, and in you Jesus WILL BE GLORIFIED!
