“It’s Time to Tighten Down”

Recently, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Tighten down.” I then had a prophetic vision of a wrench tightening down nuts on a bolt to hold them in place. What I believe the Lord was revealing to me is that there are many Believers that are not consistent in the basic practices of walking with God. There are many that do not spend time in the Word of God. They are also not found in the secret place of prayer and do not live a lifestyle of fasting. Because of this, there are so many that are being led astray and growing complacent. God is calling His people to return to the basics, to tighten down those key principle practices in our daily lives, because of what He wants to do in the earth in this upcoming season.
After the Lord spoke this to me, I began looking at everything in my life and schedule that I had deemed a priority and began to reexamine them. I also took a look at my personal walk with God and began to carve out more time each day to devote to reading the Word and prayer. I began to tighten down on my spiritual life, on my priorities, on how I spend my time, and began to apply faith and action to this word from the Lord.
I believe the Lord is speaking to us in this season to “tighten down.” This is a building, pioneering season and I want to encourage you, take this word and tighten down! Take a good honest look at how you have been spending your time and your resources. Reexamine your priorities, carve out more time to spend in the Word of God and in prayer. Preparation for the Days Ahead
I believe God is releasing this word to His people in this hour because of what is coming in the days ahead. I believe some of the most powerful moves of God are about to take place in the earth and God is looking for those who will be ready to be a part of it!
Many live their lives too loosely and too haphazardly. Let this not be said of us, especially in this explosive season! Tighten down on what God has called you to do and live with extreme focus and great intention. Step out into all those prophetic words God has spoken to you. Write the book God told you to write! Stop sitting on all those gifts God has placed inside of you and release them out into the world to bless others.
Now is the time to tighten down! If we want to see the Kingdom of God advance in this hour, God needs each of us to tighten down and move forward, not backward. Put your hands to the plow and don’t look back in this hour! Tighten down and watch what God will do in and through your life!
