Overcoming The Dysfunction Of War – Michael Danforth
Some time ago, Tamera and I watched a movie about an elite navy seal team and its senior master chief. For years, this navy seal leader had engaged in a wide range of strategic battles behind enemy lines.

Whenever this elite team was not engaged in battle, they were constantly training for the next coming mission. Due to some injuries this particular squad leader was grounded and had to undergo surgery. During his downtown time, he was so conditioned to war, he did not know how to function as a peaceful civilian.

While on the battlefield he exercised precision and control, but off the battlefield he was completely dysfunctional.

As Tamera and I sat there and watched the challenging events unfold in this soldier’s life, I suddenly had one of my “epiphany” moments. I looked at Tamera and said:

“This is the same kind of dysfunction that occurs with a lot of Christians who do not know how to live outside the battlefield of life. They are so warfare minded they don’t know how to rest in the peace of God. Their constant conflicted mindset gives them a false sense of spiritual maturity. It gives them a false sense of worth. While many Christians still believe the battle belongs to them, others are making it known, “the battle belong to the Lord.”
2020 Signature Of Spiritual Maturity

Speaking to Goliath, David declared,

“This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give you into our hands.” (1 Samuel 17:46-47)

As you can see, knowing the battle belongs to the Lord doesn’t mean we just sit idly by on the sidelines waiting for God do something. However, David’s actions made it very clear he was not functioning out of a place of fear and desperation, but from a place of complete rest and trust in God’s intentions toward himself and the nation of Israel. As a result, it became very clear to those around “…Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6)

In my recent book “Beyond 2020, Kingdom Age of Maturity,” I speak about the “age of rest and peace” and how it will become a signature of spiritual maturity in 2020, and beyond.
Embracing The 100-Fold

It appears many are so conditioned toward “spiritual warfare” their inability to walk in the 100-fold realm of God’s kingdom (which is the rest of God) is ever so evident. It’s seems our eagerness to celebrate kicking the enemy’s butt, far outweighs our ability to celebrate living in God’s rest. From heaven’s perspective, there must be a level of complexity watching God’s people continually kick a defeated foe who has already been disarmed by the power of Jesus Christ.

Again, this is not to say we are not actively engaged in advancing the kingdom of God, but we must do so from a “finished” perspective.

In some of my previous videos and articles in 2018-2019, I have emphasized the importance of celebrating our victory over all the power of the enemy, here and now, rather than waiting for that victory to become evident in future months and years.

Jesus declared:

“Now you understand that I have imparted to you all my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority.” (Luke 10:19 TPT)

This is certainly a far cry from a survivor’s mentality to functioning as “more than a conqueror.” We haven’t received just “some” authority, but “all” authority over “all” the work of the enemy.
Overcoming A Spirit of Impeachment

I have continually pointed out the prophetic significance of President Trump’s rallies and how they depict moments of intense celebration towards another 2020 presidential term, before it becomes visible.

Your praise and celebration of future expectations of heaven on Earth are a gateway towards the increase of God’s kingdom.

Today, it’s time to celebrate and rejoice that the glory of heaven is bringing down every modern-day wall of Jericho at epic levels. This includes the lame attempt to impeach the President of these United States.

Impeachment is defined as, “to call into question the integrity or validity of someone’s intent. It’s a charge of misconduct against the holder of a public office.”

This impeaching spirit isn’t just trying to impeach Donald Trump, it’s trying to impeach your purpose and intent in this life. It’s trying to call into question the validity and integrity of your sonship in the kingdom of God. It’s a false accusation against your governmental enthronement in the kingdom of God.
“The gates (government) of hell will not prevail!”
Reigning In Rest And Peace

Contrary to popular belief, our future victories are not the result of some knockdown-drag-out fight in the alley ways of darkness. Our victories hinge on what Jesus has already done.

John quotes Jesus as saying,

“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, (cheer up!) for I have conquered the world!” (John 16:33) TPT

In other words, “Though we experience a certain amount of troubles and sorrows “cheer up!” Because Jesus has taken away the power this world has to defeat us and has conquered it for us. Peace is resting in His victory. (Notes from TPT) Come on! This is great news!

Jesus’s celebration is our celebration. His victory is our victory. His ascension is our ascension. His enthronement is our enthronement. His peace is our peace. His mind and heart are ours. Everything Jesus is we are. Everything Jesus has we already have. Everything Jesus has done and is doing right now is part of our eternal DNA.

“It is through him that we live and function and have our identity; just as your own poets have said, ‘Our lineage comes from him.” (Acts 17:28) TPT

“The Aramaic translation reads, “Our nature comes from Him.” It implies “kindred or family taken from God’s genes.”
Celebrating Your Way Through

As already mentioned, the power of celebration is purposed to pave the way for the increase of God’s kingdom. While the revelation of the rest and peace of God will be greater realized in 2020, and beyond, all the above is available to you right now. Another major transition of government is upon the United States, and the world. Before the month of December is over, I believe we will begin see some more obvious visible signs of the increase of the government of heaven infiltrating the world. Again, walking with a celebratory heart is one of the turning keys to heaven’s future intent for the people of God.

Paul writes,

“Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God praising him always.” (Philippians 4:4-8 TPT)

Come on! This is brilliant! A master plan from heaven!

Just in case I’ve not made myself clear, God is reconditioning His people from a place of war into a place of rest and peace, into a place of kingdom celebration. This kind of conditioning requires a greater discipline of faith and trust than any other militant or combative mindset against the powers of darkness.

The only real effort on your part is to totally surrender to unconditional love. In this coming year, we will witness a supernatural surrender of the people of God entering into His love and rest in unimaginable ways. In addition, many nations who have been viewed as enemies of God, will begin to surrender to the supreme God of all creation.

You are Amazing! You are the divine choice of heaven for this hour! You are the heartbeat of God, billions have been waiting for! You are the champions of heaven on Earth! The only impeachment you will see is the removal of a dark government, which in the end, will make way for the true government of light, life and liberty!

Kingdom Cheers!
