As many of you know, we’ve seen countless testimonies during the last year at Lifestyle Christianity University (LCU)! God continues to move among our students here and perform the miraculous with signs, wonders, and miracles!
One of the most powerful testimonies occurred a few months ago when one of our former LCU students went on the Power & Love Brazil team trip. . .
One day on the trip, she was walking down the street with her translator and walked past a man who was paralyzed and hadn’t walked in over 20 years. The former LCU student asked for his name and his story. He shared that he hadn’t walked in 20 years and that the doctors told him that the muscles in his legs were completely dead and that he’d never walk again — but Jesus said something different at that moment!
She knelt down and put her hands on his legs and prayed a simple prayer from the revelation of who she is as Christ’s daughter — she didn’t even ask for healing, she just believed in what had already been given to her on the cross! She spoke life to the legs and said, “In Jesus name, be healed!” She spoke to every leg muscle and spoke life to the legs while hearing the Holy Spirit say, “It is finished!” WOW!
She stood up and told the man to get up and walk as she watched the man stand to his feet without any assistance and walked for the first time in decades! C’mon, Jesus! The best part of this story is that the man was a believer and had been crying out for God to heal him for years! God showed up on that sidewalk and forever changed his life!
What I love about LCU is how it’s transforming the lives of our students by helping them to understand who they are and the power they walk in each day because they know who they belong to! As we understand who we are and the power we carry because of Jesus dying on the cross, we’ll begin to see lives transformed around us and will bring Heaven to Earth!
