I have preached thousands of times in California. Maybe ten thousand times! But I have never faced anything like what I am about to describe to you.
As you may know, we will start a tent crusade in Marysville California this Sunday night. But this is so far beyond a tent crusade that I can’t find the words.
This is far and away the most strategic outreach in the 50-year history of Mario Murillo Ministries. That is because this is the beginning of our invasion of California along the highway 99 corridor. Our tent will move from through a handful of cities making its way south to Los Angeles.
Planning and praying for this endeavor put me in direct contact with hell. Dark forces have challenged me that I have never felt before. I have watched normal people turn into beasts simply because we told them we are coming. We have awakened something ancient and malevolent.
We are not novices at this. We understand spiritual warfare and demonic activity. We do not pick a fight with evil forces unless we are anointed to do it—and, even then, we proceed cautiously, without boasts or taunting.
But we now know the reason we have been attacked so violently. The devil is hiding a secret in California. It is a secret that he guards with unbridled tenacity. That secret is the hunger and openness of the average person in California. They are not the left wing nuts you have been told.
At this moment there, is a quiet revolution taking place in the golden state. They are fed up with the gender bending experiment on their children, they are angry over the socialist taxation, they are clearly aware of the war on God that their leaders have declared.
I say it is quiet because they are oppressed. A small, loud confederation of politicians, media moguls, techie billionaires and educators wield almost complete power over what they see and hear in this nation state.
Asking you to pray this time is far different than at any other time. I can say without hesitation that at this moment it is a matter of life and death. I am asking for strong, focused prayer and I want to be very specific:
-Pray for me to have utterance: Ephesians 6:19 “and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.”
-Pray for the people who are suffering in California. Pray for us to have enough workers to bring the people en masse to Christ. Matthew 9: 36 “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
-Pray for the surpassing power of the Holy Spirit to come in deliverance, victory, signs and wonders. Acts 8: 5 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.”
-Pray for the church and pastors to rise up and rally to the Lord’s side in sustained revival. 2 Chronicles 29: 36 Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly.
-Pray against socialism in America. If it comes it will come through California. Socialism is a curse. It has always destroyed the nations that have given themselves over to it. It begins and ends in atheism. Leftists want to make our health care like that of other nations—nations that come here because their socialist system lets them die. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez does not have the clout to bring it…neither does Bernie Sanders. If destruction by socialism comes to America it will come through California.
But I also believe that if revival comes to America it can come through California.
I don’t know if I will ever make an appeal like this again in my life. Your prayers for me and our workers have never meant more. You are able to speak protection over us. You have the authority to call down blessings and provision on us! I cannot find the words to thank you enough for beginning to pray for us. Please start now.
