[WYMT.com] One of the latest viral videos to make the social media rounds is of a shift crew of coal miners gathered for their daily safety meeting, held prior to descending into the mines. (Photo Credit: WYMT)

Apparently, they’re a pretty patriotic group as the video features miner Josh Stowers singing a stirring rendition of the National Anthem while the men bow their heads in respect.

It’s a stark difference to what is taking place above ground—on the gridiron these days.

Fellow miner Shane Wriston, who posted the video, commented that there was ‘no kneeling’ during the singing of the Anthem.
