RADICAL LOVE AND FAITH – Ron McGatlin

The world may be much closer to the fullness of the kingdom of God on Earth than we think we are.

The root issues of the world are far deeper than the very serious surface issues that fill people’s minds daily with adversity. The wars killing thousands and mass shootings, the violent earthquakes and storms, inflation, the thousands of homeless sleeping on the streets in makeshift shelters, and even the mutilation of children are not the real root issue that must be changed or destroyed.

When Jesus spoke to the barren fig tree, He cursed it to die from the roots up. Cutting a tree down to the ground does not usually kill most trees; they typically regrow from the roots and often multiply as several new trees sprout from the old root system. Mark (11:12, 20-24)

Fighting against the many terrible issues without addressing the root cause or need is only of short-term effectiveness. Throughout recent history, essentially, this has been done, and the bad roots have greatly multiplied the world’s problems.

Jesus did not physically cut off the trunk and branches, nor did he dig up the root. He SPOKE directly to the root system, and by the power of Father God in heaven, the tree dried up from the roots in one day.

THE ROOT ISSUE AND RADICAL FAITH

The root issue is not natural or physical. It is entirely SPIRITUAL.

The spirit root must be spiritually addressed to destroy or change the issue.

A radical change can take place in a day through Spirit power intervention.

Jesus spoke directly to the fig tree. He did not pray or quote scripture.

At another time, Jesus spoke, “Peace be still,” to the windstorm that threatened to sink the boat they were in, and the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39).

Where did Jesus get this radical faith to speak to the situation or condition and see it miraculously take place? The answer is that Jesus first sees the FATHER DOING IT and does likewise.

How did Jesus see Father God doing these works?

Jesus, the Son of Man, and Father God, in love, communed together, giving Jesus knowledge of what God was doing. Jesus was a natural man on earth living without separation from God by sin. As a son of man, Jesus could do NOTHING by Himself or of Himself. (John 5:19).

Jesus had a clear brain and mind, undamaged and unhindered by sin as initially created by God, and was filled with the Holy Spirit at His baptism. This gave Him the ability as a son of man on earth to do the will of God by the Holy Spirit, and to commune intimately with Father God.

It was this perfect life that went to the cross as a sacrifice to redeem all mankind and this world. He was resurrected, returned to heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father, was restored to His full position as Spirit God, Son of God, and returned to earth in the Holy Spirit to restore mankind and the world. Selah!

Now, by the Holy Spirit, He is “Christ in you the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27-28, “The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

RELIGION OPPOSES RADICAL SPIRIT REALITY

Jesus spoke to a crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And religious leaders sought to kill Jesus because it was on the Sabbath and because He called God His Father, making Himself equal to God.

John 5:18-21, “Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.’”

Radical Spirit life always removes religious merchandising.

Jesus had just been formally announced on His “triumphant entry” into Jerusalem. (Mark 11:1-11).

The day after Jesus’ “triumphant entry” into Jerusalem, He overturned the tables of the money changers and drove the merchandisers out of the Temple. (Mark 11:15-18).

POSITIONING FOR RADICAL FAITH

Communing in love with God in Christ by the Holy Spirit is the only way to hear and see what God is doing. Then speaking what is seen and heard from God is the way to the radical supernatural works of God.

How then do we get into the place of deep and real communion in love with God? The short answer is what Jesus meant when He told the disciples, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Prayer and fasting are the way to get into position to fall in love with God and commune with Him. Prayer and fasting mean a lot more than some religious views of skipping a meal or two, and praying now and then.

It means separating from natural life’s thinking and activities, and turning to Spirit life connection and communion with God. It is establishing God and being with Him as the number one priority of life. Prayer and fasting involve denying our flesh and natural desires, allowing us to move into the Spirit realm and connect one-on-one with Father God in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Our hearts melt into one with Him in the presence of His love and personal caring for us. His infinite love, wisdom, and power, guiding and leading our lives, draws us to the complete yielding of all we have and are to Him as His servant Sons forever. We know we can do nothing without Him. Our heart desires to please Him and, in like manner, we always want to do what He is doing and say what He is saying.

This is how Jesus did the mighty works of Father God in His human body on earth. In John 5:19-20, Jesus said, “…Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.”

In Jesus and Jesus in us, you and I are Sons of God that Father loves.

Jesus also said in John 14:12, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

FATHER GOD IS SPEAKING TO HIS SONS TODAY, telling us to come alone to a radical life of supernatural spiritual life in Jesus by Holy Spirit. “I will show you the way to the fullness of life from heaven now in your world. The time for you is now to sell all that you have to buy the treasure hidden until now. Time to explode my love through you into your world. For you are mine and I am yours. There is no sacrifice for you, only a leaving of one way unto My way. Your way is now becoming My way, and all that We do in Our world will prosper and accomplish Our will and heart’s desires. You are not alone and will never again be alone, for We as one will fulfill the Times of this time now and to come. Fear not, for the world order is not your problem, but Ours together to redeem and restore. Our yoke is easy and Our burden is light.”

I asked Father God to help us understand in detail what is meant by sell all that we have.

He replied, “All that you really have is what you think and believe in your heart. Your natural possessions are as the wind. Your thoughts and beliefs that are not of Me will have no part in Us together.”

Thank You Father God! Your loving kindness cleanses my heart, inspires my soul, and heals my body. Father, I yield all of my will and way to become Your will and Your way. Amen!
