SUPERNATURAL NATURAL REALITY – Ron McGatlin
Our natural world is supernatural in that, from start to finish, it exists, through generations by the continuing power, intelligence, and wisdom of all-knowing and all-powerful Spirit God.
Mankind is given significant but limited authority and responsibility of dominion over the created world on Planet Earth. Mankind, working with God, can make and do marvelous things with God-created materials and animals. However, He cannot create life or a seed of life. Genesis 1:26-30.
Seed and life are clearly supernatural works of God, yet we consider them merely natural parts of the natural world.
The seed of a living human being is in the sperm formed in a man, which connects with an egg formed in a woman, and a living human being is formed and miraculously grows into another adult human being. All the intricate details of a human being are in that seed, including hair color, eye color, basic stature and all the body organs, parts, and innumerable minute details.
Multitudes of living plants produce living seeds that contain a living plant in a dormant, sometimes dry, form. Consider a grain of wheat, rice or some other dry, hard, living seed that, when planted in soil and watered, will produce a living green plant that produces many more seeds or grain.
Consider a pecan seed. Inside a pecan nut is an entire living pecan tree, with a detailed, specific trunk, bark, limbs, leaves, root system, and the ability to produce many pecans. An entire living tree is contained in a small nut that you might choose to crack and eat.
Think about it, a chicken egg you may have had for breakfast is a living seed of a chicken. If brooded over by a hen or in an incubator for just 21 days, it will be a living chick walking around peeping and looking for food.
One last example: consider the new baby calf that, moments after birth, as soon as it can stand on wobbly legs, begins bumping its head along the mother cow’s underside, searching for the teats to suck milk. The calf smells the mother, and the mother smells the calf, and they will both know each other by smell as long as they live.
Every system of world creation and function is literally and intricately created and sustained by supernatural wisdom and power beyond human understanding. Consider the weather worldwide and throughout the millennia, the seas and all that is in them, all that grows above ground, vast underground resources, and much more.
TRANSFORMATION AND STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT
In many cases, when a dormant seed becomes a living plant or animal, the seed part that carried the life passes away. Much like the scaffolding of a new building or the shipping container of an item is cast away.
One of the greatest transformations in the history of this world has begun and is now taking place. Portions of our past life that were useful and served to protect or meet past needs will pass away as the new life of the transformation comes forth.
The worldwide transformation is a whole new life of Spirit reality, far higher than the passing fallen world. It is, in fact, the life and way of heaven coming to earth. The Christian religion has brought salvation and introduction to Spirit Life, but is not able to bring forth the reality of the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of God on earth, in all aspects of the created world.
The love seed of the kingdom of God is now being planted into the world, bringing the transformation of the ages. The new love kingdom of heaven on earth is a reality far greater than any religion.
Love is transforming the hearts of mankind and, in turn, the world. God’s Spirit kingdom of love comes upon us, saturating us with His loving presence. Our hearts are stirred with the warmth and peace of overcoming love. We arise into the light of love and find that we move with ease to do all Spirit God leads us to do.
In the peace of love, we are strong enough to easily do all God gives us to be and do. We no longer struggle and still feel that we have not done enough. Rather, we move with ease and experience the joy of peace in active life with God. Our life is transformed into a beautiful new life of love in and with God.
Our life transformation can be likened to the supernatural-natural transformation of the Monarch caterpillar into the Monarch butterfly.
I recently reviewed independent studies on the Monarch transformation. The grown butterfly lays tiny eggs on the bottom side of a milkweed plant leaf. A tiny worm hatches, begins eating the leaf, grows rapidly into a larger caterpillar, and continues eating the plant. The caterpillar finds a place to attach itself, hanging upside down. He begins to look different, and a liquid substance forms within or on his body, becoming the chrysalis. The caterpillar seems to dissolve inside the chrysalis, and the beautiful butterfly emerges from the bottom of the chrysalis.
Instead of crawling around eating milkweed, the beautiful butterfly happily flies around eating nectar from blooming flowers.
Again, the old life passes away as the much greater new life emerges. The days of eating milkweed and crawling around were needed to reach the greater heavenly life of love and freedom.
THE CHRYSALIS STAGE OF TRANSFORMATION
One amazing point is that the caterpillar has all the necessary ingredients in its body, accumulated over its season of eating milkweed, to make it through the transformation. However, it must have a willing heart to carry out each phase in agreement with God in what He is doing. This is the same in our personal life transformation.
What if we were not willing to crawl away from the milkweed and find a place to hang upside down and be dissolved and reformed?
What if we demanded to know all about how this was going to work before leaving our milkweed? And why do we need to hang upside down? This all seems to make no sense to our milkweed minds.
1 Corinthians 3:1-2, “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able.”
If we must see and understand the supernatural process of reformation into a glorious life in God on earth, we will probably not make it through. We must trust and follow God step by step as He guides us through this great transformation.
This is not a worldwide, man-made, or even man-understood supernatural transformation. This is a supernatural change in mankind. It is not the created world that is first changing. It is mankind that is out of order and has been for thousands of years. By the work and power of God’s love in Christ Jesus in mankind, the world will be changed into the natural supernatural reality it was created to be.
We are now being moved toward the transformation from fallen natural living to Supernatural Spirit life reality of love.
Said simply, our part is not to understand it all and figure out how to do it. Our part is to fall in love with God and become one with Him by willingly allowing Him to live in us, and we in Him. God is Love.
Love never fails, and
His kingdom never ends,
