ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL YOU CAN ASK OR THINK – Ron McGatlin

When the first-century followers of Christ were alive and writing the testimony of walking with Jesus and experiencing the events of their days with the only begotten Son of God, they likely did not realize the impact their writings would have over many thousands of years. It was surely abundantly above all they could ask or think.

In this season of continuing biblical days of God moving on earth, many have little or no view of the reality of what God is really doing in the world today, and what He is doing or will do in and with our personal lives. 

From my limited perspective, there is an awakening among believers who are beginning to see more of the “big picture” of what God is doing in the world today, impacting the world now and in the future. 

(Please carefully read and meditate on each phrase of the bold text in the following scripture. Hear what it says to or about you.)

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

21 to Him be glory in the church of Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21.

SEEING THE BIG PICTURE

Awakening hearts are seeing that the lack of Spirit movement in the Christian church systems in the recent past has allowed serious evil darkness to invade the governance and training systems of the once God-focused Western nations. They have been invaded and are in the process of being overrun by antichrist eastern evil spirit religions.

The minds and hearts of the people have been retrained away from Christ Jesus, Father God, and Holy Spirit and trained toward eastern religions, as well as secular humanism and socialism. The light of God is seen as darkness, and the evil darkness is seen as light. 

The even bigger picture is that people are awakening and discovering the love, power, and peace of mind and heart in Christ Jesus, the Savior and rightful King of this world. 

The evil darkness must be stopped, and Spirit God must be released in this world to fill the hearts and minds of the people. This is indeed a severe biblical time in which nations of people must be changed to honor the one true God who loves them, or be removed by God. It is showdown time!

It is helpful now to know the big picture of what God is doing to accept His guidance into radical changes from the church age into the kingdom of God age now coming forth on earth.

As we get on board with what God is doing in the big picture, the empowerment of Spirit God, along with holy angels, can truly do more in and through us than we can think or imagine.

HOW DO WE BEGIN TO ADJUST TO THE KINGDOM AGE?

First, let me assure you that we do not begin by attempting to change the traditional church-age order. In my enthusiasm to move into the kingdom reality, I have made that mistake more than once. 

People must experience a hunger or thirst for more of God in their lives. This might be seen as a call, or just a tiredness or frustration from trying but never quite reaching a place of satisfaction or full peace, a feeling that there must be more.

Our hearts and minds must be changed by fresh enlightenment from God, which comes only through personal communion with Spirit God.

COMMUNING WITH GOD

We who are called by His name must humble ourselves, pray and seek face-to-face communion with God and be willing to turn from our old, humanly twisted ways, and God will heal us and our nation. 

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

 Communing with God is to know and become LOVE. God is love.

Loving people is vitally important, commanded by God, and clearly taught by Jesus. However, IT IS NOT NUMBER ONE. NUMBER ONE IS LOVE GOD!

Jesus said it this way, “So he answered and said, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:27.

Loving God with all of our souls includes our will and emotions as well as our minds. All of our strength means actively exerting our ability to get things done. The word mind, in this verse, would probably be better translated as heart. Our number-one mission in all our lives on earth is to love God. Selah. 

Everyone reading this has the time to fall in love with God. We all have the same amount of time each day. It is our choice what is done with that time. We can sell our time, give it away, or do whatever we decide with it.

Our circumstances are a collective result of decisions we have made, usually made by our beliefs and desires. When we are in love with God, we will make time to commune by making different decisions based on our changed beliefs and desires.

The enemy has devised many devices to capture or steal our time to prevent us from communing with God. Cell phone time traps are among the newest and most powerful tools the devil uses to steal our time. Though it probably will never match TV in stealing our time to commune with God. Stop and think about this, the most important thing ever in our lives goes undone while we are glued to a screen. Even if we were watching a really good message about God, it would still be less important than the number-one thing, of loving communion with God Himself.

The tools are not the problem. It is entirely our misuse of the tools that steals our time. We do not have a shortage of time to commune with God; we have a misuse of time. Time alive and awake is this life is really all we have, and God has a purpose for our life, probably many times greater than we have ever thought or imagined.

COME ALIVE NOW LET THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD COME UPON YOU

The apocalyptic, cataclysmic events unfolding against the evil darkness of this world are destroying much of the old world. Many people are losing the lives they have known and will turn to God with their broken lives.

The Spirit of the Lord Jesus is arising in His faithful people to restore the broken-hearted and rebuild the world as the kingdom of God.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.” Isaiah 61:1-4.

God has a significant purpose for your life now! Do not miss it! Take your extreme next step!
