The New York Post reported that Bragg’s office failed to turn over evidence to the courts by a deadline, resulting in the case against Rivers being dismissed. The D.A.’s office also failed to notify Craven Antao that the charges were being dropped and has reportedly ignored phone calls from the Thomas More Society. The outlet quoted Rivers saying that her victim is “just fishing for more clicks and empathy and targeting me for harassment, so yeah, I don’t really feel anything about it.” However, the attacker reportedly “liked” numerous social media comments congratulating her (often using vulgar language) for beating Craven Antao. “You ain’t hit that girl hard enough,” one comment read. Another comment said that the pro-life journalist “deserved it 1000%…” On Tuesday night’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Live Action News Correspondent Christine Bennett, a colleague of Craven Antao’s, referred to Rivers’s attack as “shocking.” Bennett said, “I think that’s why it got national attention, because people were horrified to see that type of violence.” She continued, “Savannah was questioning her about her pro-life opinions. And this woman, Brianna, she sucker-punched her. And after that, she repeatedly mocked the situation, made jokes about it online, and now she’s making light of the fact that her charges were dropped. And it’s really just unjust.”
More recently, President Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts, a transgender-identified shooter killed two Catholic schoolchildren and injured many more in Minnesota, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated on a college campus in Utah, a sniper targeted US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Texas, and violent riots have raged against ICE officers across the country, from Los Angeles to Chicago to Portland. “Political violence should never be tolerated or given a free pass. When those in power refuse to hold accountable those who respond to free speech with violence, it threatens the very fabric of our civil society,” Craven Antao said in a statement. “Failing to prosecute these clear-cut charges sets a dangerous standard for how our society responds to violence against those engaging in democratic dialogue,” Thomas More Society senior counsel Christopher Fererra added. “This blatant example of selective prosecution shows a troubling disregard for equal protection, leaving peaceful pro-life advocacy exposed to intimidation and violence,” he continued. “People need to learn accountability for what is happening in this country over the last year, which is this wave of violence by left-wing activists who think that the appropriate response to an opinion they don’t like is either punching, kicking, assaulting or shooting somebody.” As Bennett underscored, “Violence is never acceptable. We fight with words and ideas and debate and civil dialogue. And that back and forth is a beautiful thing. [It’s] a gift that we have as Americans, a protected right that we have for freedom of speech.” She continued, “And so violence is never the answer. And it really shows people, this dropping of the charges shows people that you can commit an act of violence and get away with it. And that is not the message that we need right now in America.” In comments to The Washington Stand, Mary Szoch, director of the Center for Human Dignity at Family Research Council, said, “It is deeply concerning that the attacker of pro-life journalist Savannah Craven Antao will not be criminally charged. Anyone can see that the video footage shows just how violent and criminal the attackers actions were.” She continued, “Unsurprisingly, those who are comfortable with tearing apart an innocent, defenseless, unborn child in the womb, have become more and more comfortable with extreme violence against pro-lifers. This must stop. We must pray for a renewal of a respect for all life in our country—from the moment of fertilization until the moment of natural death.” S.A. The video of the attack, in which Craven Antao is seen beaten and bloodied after asking Rivers a question about Planned Parenthood, went viral earlier this year, drawing hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and hundreds of thousands more on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook. According to the Thomas More Society, Rivers was arrested and initially charged with second-degree assault, a felony. The abortion pill has a high rate of serious adverse events for the women who take it, aside from killing pre-born children.
Kennedy shared earlier this year that President Donald Trump requested he conduct a study of the pill’s safety for women. As Lila Rose of Live Action has noted, “A drug designed to starve preborn babies to death can never be considered “safe.” Kennedy announced the safety study together with FDA Commissioner Marty Makary in a September 19 letter to Republican attorneys general, writing, “Through the FDA, HHS will conduct a study of the safety of the current (safety protocol), in order to determine whether modifications are necessary,” Axios reported. Given that about two-thirds of all abortions in the US are now chemical—the vast majority using a combination of mifepristone and misoprostol—if further restrictions on the abortion pill are enacted, abortions in the country could significantly drop. Kennedy pledged earlier this year to ask Makary to conduct a safety study of the abortion pill when pressed by lawmakers. Sen. Hawley asked if Kennedy was aware of the Ethics and Public Policy’s recent study that showed nearly 11 percent of women in the US who take mifepristone suffer serious adverse events, a rate 22 times higher than what is reported on the drug label. “It’s alarming,” Kennedy replied, adding that it “validates” previous studies and “at the very least, the label should be changed.” Twenty-two state attorneys general recently urged Kennedy to carry out this study, stating, “Based on that review, the FDA should consider reinstating safety protocols that it identified as necessary as recently as 2011 in its issuance of a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) for mifepristone, but which were removed by the Obama and Biden administrations.”… Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here Continue reading Here.

President Trump has, in his second term, cracked down hard on DEI programs in schools around the country.
Recently, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers detained a superintendent in Iowa. Now, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating the school district over its alleged diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. From the Washington Examiner: ICE officers detained Ian Roberts, the superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools, on Monday, alleging he was living and working in the country illegally. He has lost his state license and has been placed on unpaid leave. On Tuesday afternoon, he resigned from his position. The DOJ sent a letter to the system’s interim superintendent, Matthew Smith, informing him of the investigation into the district’s alleged diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon is informing the district of the Title VII inquiry, and acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General Eric Sell will lead it. “Our investigation is based on information that DMPS may be engaged in employment practices that discriminate against employees, job applicants, and training program participants based on race, color, and national origin in violation of Title VII,” Dhillon wrote. According to Dhillon, the school district was quoted as stating, “Diversity enriches the climate and strengthens the effectiveness of our schools.” The district also reportedly set “race-and-color-based teacher recruitment goals.” Dhillon said the DOJ has not reached any conclusions, but is currently considering relevant info. According to the Examiner, it’s unclear if the detainment of Roberts is related to the DOJ’s investigation, although it is telling that a school allegedly pushing DEI would also allegedly hire and illegal immigrant. Roberts, currently awaiting immigration proceedings in an Iowa jail, is expected to be deported. President Trump has, in his second term, cracked down hard on DEI programs in schools around the country. The Examiner notes that the Department of Education has pulled millions in grants from school districts in Virginia, New York, and Illinois over similar DEI programs. In a “conservative” Oklahoma school district, local citizens went into a high school library and found obscene pornographic books. School administrators and school board members acknowledged the books are there. But they are not interested in how porn affects young people—or why the school librarian brought it in.
Why is there so much horrible material in the public schools—even in schools run by “conservative” Republican school committees? As we’re finding out, a big reason is that these officials aren’t particularly interested in finding out what’s in their own schools—or stopping the obscenity. But local citizens are finally punching back. Bartlesville, Oklahoma—a town of 38,000 in the northeast part of the state—is 67 percent “conservative Republican.” However, many parents there have decided to homeschool their children rather than send them to the public schools. Our MassResistance chapter there recently ignited citizen pressure to derail a hideous Drag Queen event for children in a public park. That success has encouraged our people to continue! Last month, a few of our Bartlesville activists decided to see if the local high school’s library had any of the obscene sexual/LGBT books for youth listed on national websites. They were surprised to find that one website showed Bartlesville High School as having dozens of them! Could that really be true? What’s happening in the schools is ultimately affecting all of us. So even though our activists don’t have children in the schools, as taxpayers they felt they needed to go to the school library and find out for themselves. The month-long “journey” to find out It took a month of persistence, but they got permission to go into the school library. In early August they reached out to the Superintendent for permission. After stalling for a while, he arranged for them to meet with the Director of School Operations. They presented him with the list of books from the website. He said he would find out if those books are in the library and get back to them. At that meeting they showed him a copy of the book It’s Perfectly Normal, which targets young children with explicit drawings of nude adults and children, several in sexual positions. He was aghast at the pictures, they said, and said that a book like that certainly didn’t belong in a school. It was an interesting reaction. He also told them that there is a “challenge process” if they don’t like any of the books. They responded that people shouldn’t have to “challenge” books in a school library that are obviously pornographic. On August 27, the Director of School Operations finally got back to our activists. He acknowledged that 85 percent of the books on that list were, in fact, in the high school library! He didn’t seem embarrassed about it at all. He certainly didn’t seem to think they should be removed. Our activists then asked to be allowed to go to the school library and see the books for themselves. He said he’d get back to them on it. But weeks went by and they didn’t hear anything. So on September 15, our activists attended the School Board meeting and read aloud excerpts from a few of the books. They demanded, as taxpayers, to be allowed to go and look at them. The Superintendent relented and arranged for them to go to the high school library.
Knowing that our activists were coming, it was surprising that librarians didn’t make any effort to hide the books—which were right out in plain sight. So it was easy to take photos of about 30 of the books. Books that are poisonous for teenagers (or anyone!) These books are on the “obscene list” websites for a reason. The subject matter and descriptions in these books are sickening. For example, this book, The Haters by Jesse Andrews was fairly prominent. Even after our activists read from one at the school board meeting, there was no interest in examining them, much less actually removing them. Our next step: getting answers! Over the next few weeks, we are going to demand answers. All these school officials—librarians, administrators, school board members—owe parents and taxpayers their explanations why they think these books are “good” for teenagers. Of all the millions of books available for teenagers, why did the school select these? It’s certainly not an accident. We were told that the high school librarian has been there for 27 years. It’s well known that certain publishers specialize in teen pornography, and which books contain such material. The librarian would have known the books’ contents. So what possible value did this person see in these degenerate books? And all of this begs the question: What other radical horrors are being presented to kids at this school—that the “conservative” officials are simply ignoring or going along with? We intend to find out. Clearly, there are people working at the school who should find other employment. Final thoughts Most conservatives immediately “go after the books.” They want the bad books immediately removed. Then they’ll be satisfied. That’s the easier, short-sighted way out of this. As we’ve said so many times, the books didn’t just walk in by themselves. People put them there. And if the books are simply removed, other bad ones will take their place. UniteUS is an evangelistic outreach geared toward GenZers that has been presenting the Gospel on multiple college campuses. Their latest stop was the Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The ministry reports that approximately 500 students responded to the salvation message, and many were baptized right outside of the arena. “We are blown away by what God did tonight at the University of Tennessee with over 8,000 students gathering to lift the name of Jesus and over 500 salvations,” reads a video. Young students at the Knoxville school are not the only ones praising Jesus openly on campus, but are also testifying about how His Spirit is moving among their friends. “Hundreds, we witnessed hundreds get baptized tonight,” one student shared in a video circulating on social media. “[We] witnessed thousands changed for the name of Jesus. There is a new thing coming to this generation, and UniteUS is a big part of it.” As CBN News reported, UniteUS began in September 2023 at Auburn University. Five thousand students showed up to proclaim the name of Jesus, and 200 were spontaneously baptized in a nearby lake. “When God gave me the vision for Unite Auburn, I could have never imagined what was coming,” UniteUS founder and evangelist Tonya Prewett told CBN News. “I remember standing at (the) baptisms after the Auburn event in the middle of thousands of students just praising God and thinking how can this stop? And it hasn’t. He keeps doing it. Again and again,” she shared. The movement has since spread like wildfire. Jennie Allen from the “IF: Gathering” often preaches to the students at the UniteUS events. She wrote on Instagram that she was in awe of how God is moving across college campuses. “Yay!!! God keeps doing it,” she commented on one video. Allen recently told CBN News Digital that what she and other UniteUS leaders are encountering a modern-day “miracle.” “This is just all a miracle,” Allen said. “So many kids come forward, confess sin, follow Jesus, and we’re baptizing usually into the morning,” she said. “And it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s unlike anything I’ve even been bold enough to pray for … until recently.” “You can just see all over the stadium, huddles of kids, wiping tears, nodding, praying, holding each other. I mean, it’s so precious and brave,” she added. What is moving these students to give it all to Jesus is simple: the pure, unadulterated Gospel. “Repent for your sins,” Prewett told University of Tennessee students. “Repent for the sins of this campus, for the city, and our nation. And let’s get free from those and we are just going to give it all to Jesus and go all in.” As CBN News reported, students often testify in makeshift baptismal pools before being submerged in water—a Biblical declaration that their old, sinful life is buried along with Christ. “I never felt good enough to get in this tub and live a life after [of] just sinning,” one student shared before being submerged. “I know I’ll never be perfect. GOD IS SO GOOD,” wrote an Instagram user named Sofia. “All glory to the only one worthy…All hail King JESUS,” another user wrote. “Jesus is moving in Gen Z and this is just the beginning,” UniteUS wrote.
