Phrases of Hope and Great Expectation

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been hearing phrases in my spirit such as “time to advance,” “walk on water,” “be confident,” and “new possibilities await.” Each phrase, in its own right, instills profound hope and anticipation, and perhaps some fear. However, be encouraged that as you sense God shifting you into something new, you are ready to step into the new territory of what He has called you to accomplish with and for Him.

These motivational phrases are whispers of God’s declarations as we move with Him in this season. He desires us to keep our eyes fixated upon Him, without distraction. Let’s explore how each of these declarations unfolds in our lives as we step into new territory with Him.

“Time to Advance”

“Time to advance” signifies a shift in our lives. We can no longer operate as we did in the past, because we have developed and grown in our identity in Christ and intimacy with God. Having passed the “tests,” God can now entrust us with a greater sphere of influence and impact, knowing the depths of our hearts. This is evident when God tested Abraham to see if he would obey, even if it meant sacrificing his beloved Isaac.

“Walk on Water”

“Walk on water” represents our ability to take risks. Each of us has been given assignments to complete for God, interwoven with divine connections. We can no longer hide behind the masks of familiarity and comfort, as they cause us to neglect the call God has on our lives. The greatest awakening occurs when we realize that “God plus me” equals “everything.” In these moments, we know we shall have all we need because God Himself will meet those needs as we follow His lead. “Be Confident”

“Be confident” indicates that we are stronger than we realize. We are not defeated, and even when circumstances challenge our abilities, making us doubt our worth, we push back, knowing we are more than enough. We continually reposition ourselves according to God’s Word.

God declares “the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:10) to align us with His big picture. We shift our focus from perceived inadequacies to what God says we are. This was exemplified when God called Gideon, addressing not the circumstances around him but how Gideon needed to see himself as a “mighty man of valor” (Judges 6:12).

“New Possibilities Await”

Finally, “new possibilities await” signifies new assignments. Each of us is a piece of God’s master puzzle, and without our involvement, there is a deficit. If you’ve ever worked on a puzzle missing a piece, you understand the deficit. Each piece, though different in shape and connection, is essential. As we step into new territory with God, we must recognize that there is no room for competition or comparison; instead, we view others as essential for our completion and vice versa.

It’s Time to Step Into New Territory

It’s time for you to step into new territory. Don’t look back, second-guess, or fear, but move alongside God who calls you. The call isn’t just for God but to be journeyed with God. In these new moments, our greatest revelation as we enter new territory is discovering Him in ways we never have before.
