SUPERNATURAL LOVE AND GLORY – Ron McGatlin

The world is hungry for the supernatural, miraculous provision of God to bring forth His peace and glory on earth as it is in heaven. However, most of the world is unaware that they are starving for the life and ways of God within us to manifest the peace and glory of God in Christ by the Holy Spirit.

Many Christians seek miracle-working supernatural men to come forth and draw the world to their anointing, causing everyone to become miraculously healed and delivered into a heavenly-style life, without being transformed from their old natural ways of life.

The truth and reality are that the Spirit of God is invading our lives with the pure love of God, which changes everything within us and draws us into a heavenly life free from the natural fallen man’s ways and desires. Thus, changing the world to a sustainable, love-oriented living experience of heaven on earth.

Natural man without God looks to his own devices and ways to make life better on earth—more and better things, games, entertainment, foods, fame, and fortune.

Impressive amounts of science and technology have been developed in the Western world to produce an ever-increasing number of marvelous things for a luxurious life of pleasure.

MAN’S BEYOND NATURAL MARVELS

The technological and scientific marvels of today were only science fiction to the generation that I was born into.

My great-grandparents could not have even dreamed of the world that we live in today. Transportation was by horse or on foot, and communication was by word of mouth or slow-moving letters. Railroads and telegraphs were marvels of their day. Farming was done with mules or horse-drawn implements and hand tools.

The ability to see and talk to people many thousands of miles away with a device carried in your pocket was beyond imagination. Boarding an airplane and getting off on another continent across the ocean was not even dreamed of at the time. Back then, any of these things could only have happened by a supernatural translation.

(You might be thinking, where is he going with this? Yes, we are going somewhere, hang on!)

THERE IS A HUGE COST TO THE WORLD AND MANKIND FOR TECHNOLOGY.

All man-made things have a cost. They were not created in their original state. In other words, they are a rearrangement of already existing things. Created things must be consumed to produce the man-made thing.

Consider for a moment the enormous amount of matter extracted from the earth and the human mental and physical energy used to build a large passenger airplane. Every part of this massive plane comes from the already existing world.

Somewhere on Earth, minerals are mined, oil wells are drilled, or substances are gathered from the sea or harvested from plants, then refined into metals, plastics, glass, fabrics, or other raw materials used to build the airplane. Additionally, extensive human intelligence and labor are needed to produce all the raw materials, design the aircraft, form the parts, and assemble them.

Most of these materials taken from the earth are not naturally renewable and are being consumed at a very high rate.

Now consider the enormous amount of resources taken worldwide from the earth and the world to produce all the aircraft, automobiles, trains, ships, computers, phones, television sets, and more to support the fast-paced lifestyle of today’s technological and scientific marvels.

All this rapid-paced, massive material gathering, processing, designing, and manufacturing causes a tremendous amount of stress on human resources and abilities. Keeping up with all the responsibilities of business and education as a profitable part of the many facets of expensive and fast-paced life adds even more stress to one’s life.

Stated briefly, this stress causes untold amounts of mental, physical, and spiritual breakdowns in mankind. This opens the door to massive amounts of sickness and disease, destroying the well-being of people.

In a fast-paced world striving to achieve greater production for a more luxurious life, peace and genuine joy are hard to find, and bad health from sickness and disease is common.

The social order of family and community living is disrupted by the fast-paced, troubling disorder, causing a loss of peace and stability, which in turn leads to a decline in the quality of life for everyone.

GOD’S REDEEMED NATURAL WORLD

What God creates is inherently regenerative, restorative, and reproductive within its natural environment. All creation in the world is designed to work together, with each element supporting others in a balance maintained through natural corrections, ensuring order for everything.

God loves the world and has provided everything necessary to sustain a life filled with peace and joy through God’s loving care and leadership in His people. Our lives are truly fulfilled as we help maintain God’s order on earth.

Being in loving communion with God by living and walking in the Spirit enables us to work in perfect harmony with God and creation, as we follow His designed order.

This leads us to a life of contentment in perfect peace and joy. The presence of God’s love within us and with us brings complete fulfillment to our lives. Watching Him work, bringing all things into order through the works He gives us, is an exciting and joyful source of satisfaction. Our relationships with other people of God are fulfilling, and we have no unmet needs in our lives.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:11-16.

We no longer need entertainment, games, more money, luxury things, a fast-paced life of striving to achieve fulfillment, feelings of need, desires, or lust for more in life.

We can live in a life of peace and joy, walking in love with God and with one another. Our health will improve, and our hearts and minds will be clearer and at peace in harmony with God.

Supernatural miracles are common in everyday life, as the fulfillment of Christ Jesus’ life through the Holy Spirit lives and loves within us. All things are possible for us, but not all things are necessary for us.

Our discernment is clear, and we are no longer misled by showmanship or charlatans who use exaggerated miracles.

Supernatural acts without love lead to witchcraft and sorcery. The enemy can produce counterfeit supernatural and deceptive acts that seem to be the works of God. However, they are never done in love. If true love is not evident in the situation, it probably is not truly of God. God is love.

Love is one thing that the devil cannot replicate or imitate. A pretense of love is characterized by flattery and empty promises, accompanied by a lot of talk and little to no genuine actions of care and encouragement.

THE JOY OF THE LORD

Someone has said, “Joy is peace in action.” Or was it, “Peace is joy at rest.” Either way, I think that it is wisdom from God.

Peace and Joy stem from love. And the only source of real love is God.

Living our lives in communion with God is walking in the Spirit, and is a life characterized by love, righteousness, peace, and joy.

More than our healing from illnesses, God’s plan for us is divine health!

A merry heart does good like a medicine, and the Joy of the Lord is our strength. (Proverbs 17:22) (Nehemiah 8:10).

The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! Psalm 21:1.

Romans 14:17, “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
