Nathan Shaw: The Destruction of Fordow – A Prophetic Sign
Kingdom Warriors of Light
God is raising up Kingdom warriors whose sole focus will be the destruction of just one enemy stronghold. It is all too common for those who study dark forces to become darkened in their minds. As warriors of light we have access to the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God (Romans 13:12; Ephesians 1:17). This wisdom and revelation brings enlargement and insight and is always full of hope. The Kingdom warriors that God is raising up will be laser-focused on the destruction of specific strongholds, but in the process, they will not become darkened in their minds.
On the 22nd of June 2025, it was reported that Iran’s Fordow Uranium Enrichment Plant—a facility hidden deep inside a mountain—had been destroyed by twelve massive bunker-buster bombs during Operation Midnight Hammer. In General Dan Caine’s briefing on the operation, he emphasized the work of two unnamed officers who started studying the Fordow facility no less than fifteen years earlier. The following is from General Caine’s briefing.
Two Unnamed Officers
“In 2009, a Defense Threat Reduction Agency officer was brought into a vault at an undisclosed location and briefed on something going on in Iran… He was shown some photos and some highly classified intelligence of what looked like a major construction project in the mountains of Iran. He was tasked to study this facility, work with the intelligence community to understand it, and he was soon joined by an additional teammate…
“For more than fifteen years, this officer and his teammate lived and breathed this single target—Fordow—a critical element of Iran’s covert nuclear weapons program.
“He studied the geology. He watched the Iranians dig it out. He watched the construction, the weather, the discard material, the geology, the construction materials, where the materials came from. He looked at the vent shaft, the exhaust shaft, the electrical systems, the environmental control systems—every nook, every crater, every piece of equipment going in and every piece of equipment going out. “They literally dreamed about this target at night when they slept. They thought about it driving back and forth to work. And they knew, from the very first days, what this was for. You do not build a multi-layered underground bunker complex with centrifuges and other equipment in a mountain for any peaceful purpose.
“They weren’t able to discuss this with their family, their wives, their kids, their friends, but they just kept grinding it out. And along the way, they realized we did not have a weapon that could adequately strike and kill this target, so they began a journey to work with industry and other tacticians to develop the GBU-57 [bunker-buster bombs]. They tested it over and over again, tried different options, tried more after that.
“They accomplished hundreds of test shots and dropped many full-scale weapons against extremely realistic targets for a single purpose: kill this target at the time and place of our nation’s choosing. And then, on a day in June of 2025, more than fifteen years after they started their life’s work, the phone rang and the president of the United States ordered the B-2 [bomber] force to go strike and kill this target.
“Yesterday, I had the incredible honor and privilege of spending time with these two Defense Threat Reduction Agency officers, who’ve given so much. One of them said, ‘I can’t even get my head around this. My heart is so filled with the pride of being a part of this team. I am so honored to be a part of this’…
“Operation Midnight Hammer was the culmination of those fifteen years of incredible work…” [1]
Weapons That Do the Job
In his briefing, General Caine went on to say, “Ultimately, weaponeering is determining the right weapon and fuse combination to achieve the desired effects and maximum destruction against a target…
“The weapons were designed, planned, and delivered to ensure that they achieve the effects in the mission space…
“We think, we develop, we train, we rehearse, we test, we evaluate every single day. And when the call comes to deliver, we do so.”[1]

Once a stronghold is properly understood, an appropriate weapon can be developed to destroy it. The overall process has several stages:
1. Understand the stronghold.
2. Develop a weapon to destroy the stronghold.
3. Perfect the use of the weapon.
4. Deploy the weapon to bring about the desired outcome.
Destroying Strongholds
Paul makes it clear that we have been equipped with spiritual weapons that destroy spiritual strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). One of Jesus’ main purposes while He walked the earth was to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8; Hebrews 2:14–15). We are commissioned to do the same (Luke 10:19). But don’t think that this work is done by merely railing at the enemy. More often it is done in hiddenness through careful and patient study of specific strongholds, the deliberate seeking of God’s wisdom and revelation, and practiced implementation of strategies that bring destruction.
If God has called you to take out a specific stronghold, stay on the assignment until it is accomplished. In most spiritual battles, both patience and courage are needed. The diligence of unnamed officers can often do more to destroy the works of the devil than people with loud megaphones and large platforms. If your diligence and focus are unnoticed, take heart. God is raising up Kingdom warriors whose sole focus will be the destruction of just one enemy stronghold, but the destruction of that one stronghold will impact generations to come.
