GOD’S CONTENTMENT IN A CONTENTIOUS WORLD – Ron McGatlin

God is still on the throne over all creation, and with all the power and patience of heaven, He is waiting for a people who will believe and wholeheartedly receive His heavenly wisdom and power of love in Holy Supernatural life now on Earth.

Is it possible that it is already here, and we are not recognizing or responding to it?

Because doctors and hospitals are involved in many miraculous healings, we may improperly view the supernatural work of God as only a work of man. Whether their treatment was effective or not, it was God who answered prayers and healed the sick and afflicted.

Whether scientists and engineers built implements of destruction against God’s enemy forces, it was God who caused it all to happen or to fail as needed to accomplish His will. Though an army of men go to battle and fight with all their strength against an enemy of God, IT IS GOD THAT GIVES THE VICTORY.

Are we sometimes giving man glory when it is God who has empowered the whole thing? All good things come from above. Without God, we can do nothing. What do we have that we did not receive? (James 1:17) (John 15:5) (1 Corinthians 4:7).

PRAISE BELONGS TO GOD

Is it even possible for us to THANK HIM too much or to PRAISE HIM too loudly for all that He is doing now in this world? Is this not the way to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise?

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” (Psalm 100:4).

Is it not only possible but true that God is calling for me and you to become a shout of praise and thanksgiving for His great, miraculous gifts He is now giving in this world today? (Psalm 150).

And do you think that maybe our shouts of praise might just also encourage us and open the gates of our own hearts to step out on the troubled seas of this life with bold release of miracle-working love and power of God’s provision to destroy darkness with His light and again bring life to the dry bones.

Could the release of extreme thanksgiving and praise to God somehow encourage our own hearts to break through and boldly speak the supernatural works of God into being in the lives of others?

Is it possible that, if we boldly open our mouths, the living water of His love and supernatural life will flow out to awaken dry bones and restore the miraculous power of love to change this world?

THE ATMOSPHERE MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Am I the only one who has felt a need and desire to speak the miracle-working power of God to a situation, but for whatever reason held back, allowing the opportune moment to pass?

When our shouts and songs of praise and thanksgiving are filling the room, the atmosphere becomes charged with the presence of God. Holy angels often join in rejoicing and worshiping with us. In this atmosphere, the words of miracle-working power can flow on time and in order with great faith and a strong sense of powerful love, bringing everything in the room into supernatural spiritual balance of love.

SPIRITUAL BALANCE OF LOVE

There is no stress in perfect balance. Out of balance indicates something is needed to bring the stress level back to zero. The more things are out of balance, the more stress builds up within mankind, causing emotional and physical disorders in life.

Most of the cultures of the world are significantly out of balance and therefore, the people are very needy and discontent.

Much of the inner drive for natural mankind’s achievements is rooted in discontentment caused by a lack of something that is needed or desired. In a godless culture with free enterprise, this can be seen as a good thing to motivate people to work toward change.

However, others may also have the same need or desire and seek the same thing at the same time. Competition arises as many people strive against one another to obtain what they each want or need.

In an ungodly culture, competition in business and services serves to cause suppliers or vendors not to overcharge and not to cut back on the quality and quantity of the provided goods or services.

In the jungle of ungodly culture, as in a natural wild jungle, the survival of the fittest causes the best or strongest to reproduce, which can make for improved products and a stronger or smarter civilization.

There are benefits to competition in godless natural cultures. However, there is a tremendous cost caused by stress in competition. For every winner, there is a loser, and everyone suffers from the illnesses caused by stress and unjust actions or crimes done against one another.

In a natural culture without God, competition in some form becomes the root of strife among individuals, groups, companies, and nations. All strife and wars are costly. Much of the energy and manpower that could have helped provide for the needs of people is consumed in striving against one another. Potential production is wasted or destroyed by strife and wars caused by competition.

LOVE PRODUCES COMPLEMENTATION NOT COMPETITION

In a truly godly culture, as is in the kingdom of God, the rule of love causes everyone to seek to provide for others as themselves. Everyone in love with God loves their neighbor as themselves. Goods and services are never overcharged for, but traded at the best price possible. No one steals or defrauds another. People work together for the good of all and not to get for themselves.

There is no need or benefit of competition in a godly culture.

The world comes into perfect balance, and strife is eliminated. Diseases, crimes, and war disappear. Storms lessen and winds moderate as natural balances come into alignment with the original design of God.

Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit fill the earth as God with man return to an even greater oneness than Adam and Eve had with God before the fall, and the glory of God fills the earth.

IS THIS THE KINGDOM OF GOD THAT JESUS SAID IS WITHIN YOU, OR IN YOUR MIDST?

“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20b,21.

Yes, the King and His kingdom are indeed within His people.

Jesus told His disciples that the Spirit of Truth would be with them forever. He went on to say, “But you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

John 14:16-18: “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper (paraclete), that He may abide with you forever—17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

Jesus, the Spirit of Truth, came back to indwell His people as He promised, bringing His Kingdom with Him. Almost immediately, the disciples began proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and thousands came to Christ. This was the beginning of the kingdom of God sent to fill the world with the power and love of the kingdom of heaven on earth.

This is the kingdom of God that is within us now, and waiting to manifest into the world! Selah.

ALL the great imbalances of this world are destined to be brought into perfect balance in the revealing or manifesting of Christ Jesus into this world. As Spirit Christ fills our hearts, the ways of God fill the earth with peace. Law and order are replaced with love and order. In the manifesting kingdom of God in this world.

WHY DID THIS NOT FILL THE ENTIRE WORLD AT THAT TIME, AND WHY HAS IT NOT OVER THE PAST TWO THOUSAND YEARS? WHAT TODAY STANDS AGAINST THE KINGDOM OF GOD FILLING THE WORLD TO THE GLORY OF GOD?

Read the first seven chapters of The Book of Acts, and see if God reveals the answer to those questions. If I live and God allows, we will deal with the answers to these questions next week.

From those answers, I believe that much understanding of how this is being changed in this season to NOW FILL THE WORLD WITH THE REALITY OF THE FULLNESS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH.
