When Trump destroyed three nuclear facilities in Iran, he made the right choice. He put fear in our enemies. This is not regime change or endless war. This is not another Iraq war. This is how you use your military. And yes, it was constitutional. And no, Israel did not drag us into it.

Let’s take the last one first. Israel has made it very clear that they can defeat Iran with or without the United States.

Here’s what the Jerusalem Post said, “When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the start of the preemptive strike on Friday, he made it clear that Israel had chosen to act alone.

“The operation was planned by Israel to reach its goal using only Israeli forces,” Ben Shabbat said. “If the U.S. chooses to join, it will certainly make things easier. But Israel is right to avoid telling the American administration what to do.”

Israel did not drag us into this.

Donald Trump would not have attacked unless he felt it was in the best interest of the United States.

Was it constitutional? Here is what the Constitution says, “The resolution requires “in the absence of a declaration of war” that a president report to Congress within forty eight hours after introducing United States military forces into hostilities, which must end within sixty days unless Congress permits otherwise.

“The President in every possible instance shall consult with Congress before introducing United States Armed Forces into hostilities or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, and after every such introduction shall consult regularly with the Congress until United States Armed Forces are no longer engaged in hostilities or have been removed from such situations,” the resolution reads.

The resolution also makes it clear that Congress believes the president’s commander-in-chief powers are limited to “hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances.”

It was Constitutional.

Trump abided by all of these requirements. And not only that, he also made history—history on the level of a Winston Churchill.

“What else? Joe Biden was literally funding their nuclear program. He was funding the enemy.

“Donald Trump walks in, says, “What the h***’s going on here?”

“Now, sometimes the military has to be used if it’s used by a smart Commander in Chief, if it’s used wisely, if it’s used for a specific purpose it gives us teeth. People are running around calling him a warmonger. This should be an education for you, too.

 

“Now, what’s the reaction of the Democrats? Impeach Trump! These are sick people.

“This reminds me of Reagan and Thatcher. Defeating the Soviet Union. This is big. And you know who’s watching this? Xi in Communist China…You know who else is watching this? Putin! He’s got a million people dead, he keeps running them into the grinder, into the grinder. Look what Trump just did. That was not a regional war and there’s not going to be a regional war. It’s not WWIII, and it’s not going to be WWIII. He didn’t drag us into it.

“Now, what’s the reaction of the Democrats? Impeach Trump! These are sick people. Sick. You know why? Because their guy Clinton couldn’t do it. Obama couldn’t do it. Biden couldn’t do anything. If they had their way, if Kamala Harris had been president of the United States Iran would have nuclear weapons. That’s it! They would have nuclear weapons!

“America, don’t you feel relief? Of course you feel relief. Because the Islamic Nazis were building weapons to attack us, too! Intercontinental ballistic missiles. Guess what? You can go to bed peacefully tonight and know that’s not going to happen.

“Not because of Obama, not because of Biden, not because of the Democrats, not because of some Republicans, but because of Donald Trump.”

We should all be thanking God that the man who dodged the bullet in Butler Pennsylvania went on to help the world dodge nuclear missiles. Selah.
