A NEW IDENTITY – Ron McGatlin

Our season of life on this earth in these bodies is temporary
and fragile while it lasts.

As I increasingly feel the strength of my natural mind and body weakening with advanced age, I wrestle with the thought of finishing the course. Have I done all that our Lord has given me to do while here? My heart’s desire is to finish the course and not take anything to the grave with me that can be done in this remaining season of Spirit-enhanced strength of mind and body.

I have come to realize that my name and legacy are of little or no value to the future and to those who carry on into the fullness of the loving kingdom of God from heaven on earth.

This life, my name, and all about me are of no value of personal glory. God can speak through a donkey to deliver his message. ALL glory belongs only to God in Christ Jesus, the King of Glory. By the Holy Spirit, we become vessels and dwelling places or temples of God within our being.

THE GREAT VALUE OF THIS LIFE

The most valuable thing in this life is found in losing ourselves to be the manifestation of Christ Jesus in this world.

This is not a matter of trying hard to be like Jesus or to live like Him.

It is not even really about the Spirit of Christ living in our bodies WITH US.

It is the end of our identity as a natural person and the reality of our new identity as a Christ-manifesting Spirit being.

Christ is Spirit now become ONE Spirit with our spirit on earth. Our spirit being merged with the Spirit Christ Jesus becomes ONE Spirit Being. The far greater Spirit Christ merges with our spirit and brings His life into the life we now live on earth.

The Son of God, Christ Jesus, becomes the life, and I no longer exist. He manifests His Sonship now in this life on earth. Romans 8 KJV speaks of our ONE Spirit Beings as manifested sons of God.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children (sons) of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

MANIFESTED SONS OF GOD

Our part now in this hour is to bring the loving rule of God from heaven to this world. Unlimited power and wisdom from heaven are available to the manifested sons of God now in this time of great transition into the reality of the kingdom of heaven come to earth.

Our Spirit being connects with other manifested Sons of God now on earth and becomes the Spirit Body of Christ on earth. As one with Him, we are His life in this earthly body. Our minds and Spirits are joined and become one Body with one Head of all, Christ Jesus, the King of Glory.

This is not some high religious office or status. There is no natural hierarchy attached to becoming one with God. This is life in a new realm, the spiritual realm of God. The realm in which all things are possible.

Our in-love relationship is paramount, and our continual communion with God is perfect peace in all life situations. Harmony with God and our mature brothers is always pleasant perfection in all situations of life. Our speech is the voice of the love and wisdom of God, with full resolve and assurance of God. Our spiritual vision and insight are clear and unclouded by natural world interference.

We are unmoved by natural emotions, passions, and compassion to speak or act apart from what we see or hear Father God doing or saying. We have the mind of Christ, as His life has replaced our life.

We, ourselves, have done nothing at all of glory and have not arrived at some exalted position. We have only died so that Christ Jesus can manifest into this world to the GLORY of God!

The JOY of the Lord is the righteousness and peace of LOVE filling our souls with the light of heaven.

END OF THE NATURAL-MIND’S QUESTIONS AND DEBATE

The natural mind will say, “Yes, but what will this look like?” What about sickness, disease, family needs, jobs, children, grandchildren, lost people, the needs of the world, my human need for sex, recreation, and on and on and on?

A dead man has no ability to consider or deal with any of these things in this life. Selah.

If we bear the final responsibility for these things, we are alive in the natural and not yet crucified with Christ and not yet fully receiving HIS RESURRECTION LIFE.

Our responsibility is altogether unto God.
His promise is that all these things will be added to us.

 God is not going to fail or come up short on His part. “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33.

HOW DOES THIS WORK AND WHAT IS OUR PART?

With our entire heart and life, we must love Him above all else. In other words, we must fall in love with God and commune with Him FIRST. It is imperative that we receive and obey His guidance through spiritual communication in a pure, in-love relationship with God.

Only when we abide in Him and He in us can we fully release our lives and all decisions unto Him. As we honor and love Him, He will give us desires in our hearts so that we are being and doing only the desires He plants in our hearts. He will direct us and correct us when we veer off track from His direction. All that we need and all that the world needs will be met as we follow Him and not our own devices or decisions apart from His guidance.

In other words, His guidance causes everything to work for us to move and do the things that will release the provision of all needs and desires.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 14:7.

Our needs, family needs, and the needs of the world will be met through mankind being and doing the plan and purposes of God as He leads and directs.

This is a total surrender of our life or the loss of our life that can only be done by love. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1.

God so loves us that He gave His only son to redeem us, and Jesus willingly laid down His life for us, that we should become many sons. We are to lay down our lives for Him to live in our bodies in this world to establish the kingdom of God on earth. We are redeemed sons bought with the ultimate price for His divine purpose.

“For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” Hebrews 2:10. 

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Supernatural and natural powers of God are released to work with us and for us as we bring forth the works and ways of God from heaven on earth, if we will lay down control of our lives to God. This is our willing sacrifice of pure love. God is worthy and trustworthy to do great things with our surrendered life while breath is still in us.

ALL THINGS MADE NEW

“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’” Revelation 21:5.

Individually and collectively, how well are our past situations and activities working for us and for God’s kingdom?

If you haven’t noticed, saying it kindly, the world is not functioning too well.

The progress of the work of Christ Jesus to return the kingdoms of this world back to the kingdom of God over thousands of years has been slow and intermittent. However, the rate of progress has progressively been speeding up over the past several centuries and is now moving forward at a never-before-seen rate of rapid change. The things that may have worked a few years ago are failing and must be replaced.

The details of what is coming down and being replaced would fill many books. Only a generalized overview can be presented in this article.

The reality and workings of God and His living ways have been separated from the natural workings and management of life in this world and must be returned to all of life in the world.

In a generalized short statement, no individual or institution, including a family, tribe, nation, business, health care, education, government, or any other facet of life in this world, can function successfully now in this age apart from God and His ways.

People of God can no longer remain in a mostly “Sunday as God’s Day in church lifestyle. The “church-on-Sunday” style of life cannot be taken out to the world. “Church systems”, as they are, serve as a barrier or distraction to God functioning in the rest of life in the world. While we focus on “church systems” and look to this part-time system for our relationship with God, we will not change the world.

The “church” is not supposed to take over the world. God and Christ Jesus in the people are supposed to establish the kingdom or rule of God in every aspect of life in the world by the love, wisdom, and power of God.

We, the people of God, in whom He dwells, will carry Him and His love and ways into all places of service in the world to lead the world in every area of life.

God will not be added into the world’s systems as just another part. Christ Jesus is the head of His body, and through them establishes the kingdom of God in and over all of the world’s systems.

All LOVE, POWER, KNOWLEDGE, AND WISDOM of HEAVEN is available to those who are in love and one with GOD through Christ in His chosen people by the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD.

GOD’S GLORY GATHERINGS

Holy love in worship allows Holy Boldness to release the wisdom and power of God in such a way that God’s people are supernaturally drawn to gather into the manifested glory of the presence and divine works of God. Gatherings grow and move about as God leads with supernatural internal divine desire and overwhelming love, drawing us into gatherings here and there in all facets of life and many various times and places of God’s choosing or desires.

Nothing will be able to stop or turn the sovereign works of God, and the seemingly spontaneous gatherings and supernatural works of God. No man will organize it or add his name to it, and it will not be contained or controlled by man’s systems without God.

The man who lays his hand on this divine moving of God will perish. Those who try to carry it onward with their own devices will not prosper. This is a sovereign transformation of God.
