There has NEVER been a time like the one we are stepping into. What the Church was able to slack on in the past season will NOT be allowed in this era. God is raising up and ARMY of “sold out” lovers of God who will not waver, shrink back or live in fear or doubt. This move of God is happening VERY QUICKLY and if we resist, we will be swept away to the shore by this rushing water of His Spirit, and we will remain there until our hearts are adjusted to beat with His and do the work of ushering in His Kingdom.
God Is Shopping – Looking for Those He Can Powerfully Use
“The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him…” (2 Chronicles 16:9)
We are in “prep” mode right now. There is a mandate from Heaven to deal with our sin, indifference and casual commitment to Jesus. The Church is being “called up” in this hour to stand, declare, take action and move in unwavering boldness and obedience to the Lord’s voice and instructions.
There is a massive, mighty and quick moving wave coming that will sweep this whole earth as the water covers the sea. This is NOT a time to just expect “someone else” to do the job. God needs all of us. Those who volunteer willingly in the day of His power will demonstrate fearless acts and work unusual miracles (see Psalm 110:3). God is training us to hear His voice and be led by the Holy Spirit and not our natural minds. This is the day of the GREAT AWAKENING and those who are led by the Spirit are the true sons of God (see Romans 8:14).
Things we deemed important will fall to into the shadows as God is highlighting HIS important issues and guidance. What we once loved will be replaced by a newly rekindled love for Him. Programs, canned messages, unpassionate and powerless prayers will be replaced by Holy Spirit breathed and anointed prophetic declarations that will shift atmospheres and usher in God’s purpose with signs following.The whole landscape of “once accepted” Church expression is being removed and will not be accessed in the coming days.
My husband, Tim, was taking one of his many prayer walks one evening and he, being a pastor, was particularly frustrated with the lack of power and passion he was observing in the current day Church. It seemed like everyone had developed a sour attitude and were content to live with offense and indifference, missing out on the power we were all called to live in.
Tim said to God, “People don’t like the Church.” God spoke back to Tim and said, “People have never SEEN the Church.” Tim then said to God, “People don’t like Christianity.” God spoke back to Tim and said, “People don’t like POWERLESS CHRISTIANITY.” (Photo via Pixabay)
This was a huge wake up call to us. Basically, we, the Church, have been content to live very far beneath God’s original purpose for us, BUT NO MORE. God is shifting our minds and hearts and rearranging our priorities to align with His.
Great Power Demands Great Obedience
There is a tidal wave of God’s presence being poured out from Heaven. The fear of the Lord is returning with “knee-knocking” revelation. In past revivals, when the fear of the Lord was felt in great measure, people stopped working, waited in fields to get into churches to repent, fell on their faces and cried out to God for mercy and forgiveness. The Welsh revival with Evan Roberts was one of the examples of such a revival expression. Repentance is KEY! When the veil is torn and Heaven comes down like it says in Isaiah 64, there is a radical reaction to His presence.
“Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make Your name known to Your enemies and cause the nations to quake before You! For when You did awesome things that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled before You. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.
“You come to the help of those who gladly do right,
who remember Your ways. But when we continued to sin against them, You were angry. How then can we be saved? All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. No one calls on Your name
or strives to lay hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us and have given us over to our sins.” (Isaiah 64:1-7)
This is “prep” time for all of us as this mighty, Earth-shaking move of God is hitting Earth like a meteor from Heaven. We only have short time before this “two edged sword” of God’s presence is realized and felt. God is raising up an ARMY and we must be ready to obey when the orders are given. Behold the kindness AND the severity of the Lord (see Romans 11:22). There is work to do. An ARMY ALWAYS follows the directives of the general and works as a team to conquer the battle.
God? Is That You?
We have to know God’s voice and this comes by literally carving out time with Him and shoving everything else out of our schedules and minds. With ALL of the voices shouting directives at everyone in this day, it’s ESSENTIAL that we LEARN to hear the voice of Jesus’ commands and NOT the voice of another. There is an urgency to return to our first love.
Returning to our first love is the foundation from where everything else flows. Revelation 2 charges the church at Ephesus about this. If we don’t learn to hear Him, we will be persuaded to follow everyone else and our paths will be confused and cause us unnecessary hardship and pain. It doesn’t matter what circumstances are thrown at us right now, being in God’s presence is the most important thing. (Photo via Pixabay)
God is giving us instructions, dreams, insight, revealed mysteries and almost literally positioning us so He can cause our hearts to beat with His. We can then see what He sees, feel what He feels, move when He moves, act when He acts and accomplish His purpose on this earth as this GREAT HARVEST is being restored by His love. Any other motivation to action is false and will fail.
God Is Retraining His Church to Truly Reflect His Likeness
Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). The world is watching. It’s time to rectify unsettled issues, forgive each other, ask God to put His love in our hearts for those who have mistreated us and mishandled us and learn to love, His way. We don’t possess that kind of love within ourselves, but God supernaturally gives us His compassion and love that always gives us the victory and surpasses any human emotion.
The time is now. The army is arising. God is filling us with His passion, wisdom and love to accomplish His purpose in this coming year.
It’s just the beginning. The third great awakening is upon us. Surrender to His plan. LISTEN to His voice. Purpose in your heart to deepen your personal relationship with the Ruler of Heaven and Earth and sever the head of every giant the devil would put in your way.
Tear down the enemy’s plan; stand firm and don’t waver. God is not intimidated, fearful or bullied. The reaping and sowing that has been going on will reveal itself. “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7). NOBODY is getting away with ANYTHING. Our best days are ahead. We are on this earth for such a time as this.
The Year of Promotion and Places of Influence
2021, this year, God is moving people into important places. IT’S YOUR DESTINY. God created you to occupy these places before you were born. There is an increase of supernatural favor which will bring tremendous increase and prosperity to “do the work.” This divinely appointed position has been preserved for you for such a time as this.
This God-appointed placement comes with “keys” that will open many doors for yourself and others, and these doors are ones which no man can open or close. People assigned to these open doors will be mightily used to bring down the strongholds over the mountains of influence that have been occupied by a destructive foreign spirit.
There are people appointed to come around you in this season who will provide the assistance to function in this assignment. Rapid changes and decisions need to be made as circumstances reveal the next step to take to navigate this new position and place. It will be wise to keep a “loose” calendar as things can and will shift very quickly. I guess we could use the term “fluid.” Be ready to shift directions in a moment’s time.
This is GOD’S TIMING. Don’t look at your own shortcomings or flaws. God isn’t looking at them. It’s not about your qualifications; it’s about HIS choice, plan and purpose.
