Receiving the Breath of God

2020 has been an extremely challenging year for many. Due to unanticipated circumstances, the Church was not able to gather and fellowship as usual. Christians have become weary and discouraged and have taken their eyes off the vision that the Lord put in their hearts. What they don’t realize is that God hasn’t changed His mind about what He promised them, and Jesus the Way-Maker is about to come and resuscitate His Body.

Just as the Lord breathed into Adam when He created him and Adam became a living being, God is breathing life back into His Church. Just as Jesus appeared to His disciples to prove that He was alive after His resurrection, He will visit us once again. Jesus breathed on His disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (see John 20:22). In the same way He is going to breathe on His people and bring a spiritual resurrection.

In 2021 we, the Ecclesia, are coming into a time of increased spiritual awareness. The word “Ecclesia” in the Greek is the word for “church.” It represents the Body of Christ worldwide with Jesus as the head. The glory of the Lord will rest upon His Body.

Just as Moses’ face shone with the glory of God when he came down from the mountain, the Holy Spirit wants to radiate His anointing through us. In the same way that virtue went out from Jesus, His glory will flow through His Body once again. He wants to use our shadows to heal the sick just as Peter’s shadow healed the sick. He wants use us as conduits of His anointing so that it will flow out to others around us. (Photo via Flickr)

“Don’t minimize the powerful gift that operates in your life, for it was imparted to you by the laying on of hands of the elders and was activated through the prophecy they spoke over you.” (1 Timothy 4:14)

Learning to Stay in the Anointing

The past few weeks I’ve been having dreams of prophets, quite often, and I believe that the Lord is giving me this word for the Body of Christ. Two nights ago, I had a dream that I was with several friends at a conference. There was a lady spraying something into the atmosphere with an aerosol spray can. I discerned some kind of danger and knew that something was wrong. I told her that she shouldn’t be doing that and she stopped.

Then the dream switched to another scene. I was sitting at a table with the late Prophet Kim Clement sitting across from me. He began polishing my fingernails with white nail polish. As he did this, he said that he was showing me something prophetically as an object lesson to train me. I noticed little flaws on each nail so I was wondering if the nail polish would go on smoothly.

In the dream, when I walked back to my friends I said to them: “Do you see where we are now? We have to learn how to stay in this anointing” (meaning, in the presence of God). Then I said, “When you get back home all the fiery darts will try to come against you, but remember to stay in this anointing.” There was a young girl in the room whom I did not know. I said to her: “The Lord knew you before you were born. He knew every detail of your life.” Then the dream ended.

I believe that Kim Clement represented the transferring of the gift of prophecy and my hand represented the fivefold ministry. The Lord is preparing the fivefold ministry, as well as His Bride, for service. The white nail polish represented purity and He was polishing out the blemishes and covering His Bride so that they would come forth without spot or wrinkle. He’s calling us to holiness so that He can flow through us unhindered. The lady in the dream, spraying the atmosphere, was trying to release something to taint the atmosphere (metaphorically) and eradicate the presence of God. (Photo via Unsplash)

Functioning in the Gifts

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are going to be prevalent in the Body of Christ. Pastors have neglected to teach the congregations about these gifts, but they are imperative to move forward into what the Lord called us to do (see 1 Corinthians 12:8-11). The apostle Paul said: “…[M]y speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5).

The Lord is raising up many people to be His prophetic voice in this hour. He is raising up those who will proclaim His word and carry His glory. They will release accurate words of wisdom and detailed words of knowledge just as the Prophet Elisha knew every word that the King of Syria spoke in his bedroom (see 2 Kings 6:12). He is raising up prophets like Samuel; every prophetic word that he prophesied came to pass and not one word that he spoke fell to the ground. He is raising up those who will have faith to move mountains and He will give His people keen discernment in the days ahead.

The Lord says once again, “Just think what I could do with a life that is totally sold out or dedicated to Me.”
