1. AWAKEN TO PURE HOLY LOVE Part 1 – By Ronald D McGatlin
God’s love is always pure and holy and is always powerful to lead to righteous understanding, wisdom and power. The Spirit attributes of God flow from heaven in His love. Natural life ordered by God’s pure holy love reflects the nature and attributes of God in and through His creation.
The power to change and recreate natural life in the world is in the love of God. Change from God will always be toward the representation of the nature and life qualities of God.
The Spirit and the written word of God are always reflected in His love relationship with mankind. His love guides us to walk in the perfect order of His ways in this life. God’s pure holy love leads to heaven’s ways on earth.
God’s love never leads us to live outside the leadership of the Spirit or in contrast to His written word.
Empowerment of Father’s Love
God’s pure holy love leads and empowers us to live in harmony with His written word and the Holy Spirit.
Christ Jesus abiding in His people that abide in Him by the Spirit empowers us with the power of His pure holy love to rule and reign in this life now in the natural world.
Wherever the love of God rules on earth through His people, there is freedom, peace, prosperity and joy in the righteousness of the order of God. This is the kingdom of God on earth – the kingdom of heaven being formed on earth.
GOD IS TODAY OPENING OUR EYES TO SEE A VERY CUNNING TRICK OF THE ENEMY THAT SEEKS TO INSTALL A DIFFERENT “LOVE” TO RULE THE WORLD.
Dear friends, please give very close attention to what God is saying in this writing. We probably all know that God’s love is very different in many ways from that which natural man may call “love”. God is today pointing out one major point of difference that can have grave consequences in the lives of believers.
The devil always tries to develop a substitute or counterfeit of the true works of God. One thing that he cannot replicate is pure holy love. God is the only source of pure holy love.
However, the devil can and has devised another “love” that is very powerful in the natural fallen world. Great disorder has come to the people of the world, including much of the religious Christian church, by this pseudo “love.”
This deviant “brotherly love” is in this season being propagated among Christians on a major worldwide scale. On the surface this false love looks very good to casual observant people including Christians. However, at its core it is based on fallen human need and pride. It leads to the weakening and eventual loss of the empowerment of the true love, wisdom and power of God in our lives.
The Foundational Error of Natural Sons Verses God Sons
God’s love is the same for everyone. Every created human being is loved by God. Christ died for every one of us. This truth being erroneously applied, without the consideration of the fallen condition of Adam, is creating a serious disorder in multitudes of people.
Today false teachers don’t always know they are teaching false concepts, but rather think they are bringing truth that really sounds good and is very pleasing to the ears of the people. False teaching may in some cases be just incomplete or not the whole truth. The enemy uses the incomplete teachings to lead people astray from the PURE HOLY LOVE reality of God and into an acceptance of worldly corruption flowing through fallen mankind.
THE “FAKE LOVE” DECEPTION
The bottom line of this deception goes something like this, “We were all created by God so we all have the same Father. Therefore we are all brothers in that we all came from Adam who was a created son of God.”
(Please, don’t freak out now, but let’s look at this in the light of biblical truth.)
A major change in mankind took place when Adam fell in sin and separated himself and all mankind with him from the place of Spirit to spirit communion with Father God. A big change took place! Adam and Eve were removed from the Garden of Eden and no longer walked with God in the cool of the day. Death, which is separation from God, came upon all mankind through Adam.
Adam and all mankind at that time were no longer true sons of God but followed after the devil. Yes, God still loved them but their POSITION of true sons of God was lost.
Hardship of life, strife with one another, and death came upon all mankind. Eventually sacrifices and offerings with rituals and many laws were established by God to provide a way for mankind to express faith toward God to temporarily provide covering for their sins. But full redemption as true sons of God was not possible until the Savior of the world, the once and forever perfect sacrifice of the Lamb of God redeemed all who would believe and receive the free gift of redemption to again become true sons of God.
John 1:12-13 KJV: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
Born again of God with power to become sons of God. As many as received and believed are given power to become true sons of God. True maturing sons of God were and are again on earth.
Ephesians 2: 1-2: “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.”
Yes, without Christ Jesus abiding in mankind by the Holy Spirit all are indeed brothers in Adam, the fallen son. We were all in bondage and separated from our position as true Spirit sons of God.
In Christ Jesus and Christ in us we are again truly Sons of God and full brothers with Jesus, and brothers with all REDEEMED mankind.
God loves all sons of Adam but makes a distinction between those who are His redeemed sons through Christ Jesus and those who by their own choice are not sons of God.
Another Father
Jesus was speaking to some of the religious leaders of that day and said, “You do the deeds of your father.”
“Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father—God.”
“Jesus said to them, ‘If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.’”
“Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.YOU ARE OF YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 8:41-47.”
Loved by God or IN LOVE with God?
God is Love. His pure holy love is always there for each and every human being. However, not every person is “in love” with God. Not everyone is in a LOVE RELATIONSHIP with Father God in Christ Jesus. There is an intimate love relationship that can occur that completes the circle of love from God and too God from those who love Him. This relationship is characterized in the Bible as being adopted as mature Sons of Father God and in a marriage as the bride of Christ.
Romans 8 12-17: “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”
“FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THESE ARE THE SONS OF GOD.For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’”
“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
IN LOVE WITH GOD
Being in love with God is a requited love relationship. Love from God consumes our being with His burning love. We in turn love God with the burning passion of His love in us. We also can have the same burning love relationship with others in whom God and this same love abides.
Being loved by God is NOT the same as being IN LOVE WITH God.
God’s love toward all mankind is and unrequited love until the person receives God’s love in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit. Yes, God loves all with the same burning love but not everyone receives it and becomes “IN LOVE” with God.
The riches of the glory God are reserved for those who LOVE Him.
“But as it is written:
‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’
BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

I am so excited about your post explaining the new structure, or lack of it, of the body of Christ that I just read. I did not know whether to laugh or cry…so I DID BOTH.
You have lifted a huge weight of many years from me.
This is because that for all of these years, I have thought that I was grossly in the wrong for the structure of the fellowship that I was directed to start in 1976.
There was a lot of criticism and heavy warfare that took place. I only did what the Holy Spirit directed me to do at the time. The precious people that attended the meetings were never critical. They were the needy that received healing and deliverance and they would bask in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The saints loved seeing angels and seeing the gold dust on everyone.
They loved to bring paralyzed people to the meetings and see them leaving at the end of the meeting walking normally. Some very tough, big, strong men left the meetings in tears carrying empty wheelchairs that they had used to carry in the paralyzed.
They loved to check people out of the mental hospitals, get prayers for their
deliverance and then take them back to get them discharged and take them home.
They loved seeing people getting hands laid on for prayer and then watching them slowly float backwards and remain up in the air for five minutes or more.
They loved having their children in the kind of Christian school that would actually accept a ten year old who did not know how to read and were told that he would never be able to learn anything, and then, at the end of one year be able to pass all of the exams on a fifth grade level. Or, would allow children from the fellowship that could not pay to attend free.
We were given several teachers who were straight from heaven. They knew how to hear the voice of the Lord for every single child. We were also given a worship team straight from heaven. They knew how to hear the voice of the Lord for the perfect music.
The saints loved having people that had been drinking in the hotel bar stagger into the meeting and be hit by the Holy Spirit and continue to stagger filled with the new wine.
They loved praying for each other in their heavenly languages and seeing great results. No two meetings were ever the same. We would do what ever the Holy Spirit directed and everyone knew that.
They loved it when the 10 year old boy held out his little arms which had hands where his elbows should have been. He was a thalidomide victim. When his arms grew out, he ran around touching the ground. He had not been able to do that before. Everyone reacted as though he was their own child. We were all in it together.
Many of the children who needed prayer were brought by their grandmothers. That was when grandmothers had the faith to move mountains.
They loved it when the man who was a guest in the hotel staggered into the meeting and quickly responded when the invitation was given for anyone who had been called by the Lord into the ministry should begin running around the ballroom. They had been directed to “run with the gospel”. He ran a perfect zigzag pattern with the others. They were all drunk in the spirit. He fit right in.
About six months later, a woman spoke to me and told me that the very man had asked her to come to our meeting and tell us that he had started a church downstate and had led a lot of people to the Lord. His church was really growing.
They loved it when one of our young men, who was from Finland, was called to the front. The Holy Spirit had directed us all to pray in tongues for him while he prayed in Finnish. As we all lifted him up, there was a feeling of a great ocean wave picking him up. He immediately became a son to all of us. He was going back to Finland to minister. He was given a prophetic word that he would start seven churches and descriptions of what to do and how to do it. He did exactly what was prophesied.
The saints loved it when a prominent psychiatrist who had arthritis was prayed for and became one of the floating in the air people. He began to speak in other tongues and could not stop for three days. He had to write all of his messages down on paper. ALL of his messages. Even to patients and nurses.
On the way home after meetings, I would say to the Lord, “That was certainly wild”. Especially after some one who needed deliverance would fall on the floor writhing. Or, someone who had seizures would topple off their chair onto the floor also writhing. Or, someone would make a disturbance and then try to outrun the ushers. Of course, all of them immediately received deliverance. Then I would think that I had never seen anything like it in ANY church or fellowship. {Later on, I saw those things at Lester Sumrall’s church and in Norvel Hayes’ meetings.} Then, I would begin to praise Him for His goodness to the children of men, and thank Him for keeping me from freaking out.
I prayed and fasted and asked the Holy Spirit why I did not get any direction to get into a church building or to have elders, etc. His answer was that He
wanted it to be like the old Street Missions. He said that there was so much need that was not being taken care of by anyone . It grieved His great heart of love. I have always had an appreciation for the Street Missions. They always had results.
There was a growing amount of love each week. I still love those people of God deeply. It seemed to become a chamber of love that we walked into when we were together. There was so much love poured out that it seemed as though we could ask God for anything and He would do it.
There was also a superabundance of joy. Such a sense of expectancy. Tiredness and cares of this world would disappear as they entered the door. These were people who had never left a service feeling that the Lord had let them down.
We had ushers and catchers. Some of them would check the parking lot after the meeting started in order to close the car doors that were left open.
No one wanted to miss anything. These plus the worship team were our only “leaders”. Everyone did what ever they saw needed doing.
Sometimes, when the angels were seen flying around, someone would stand up and shout and point them out. Even in the middle of a teaching. However, that did not seem to disrupt the meeting at all.
I do not remember correcting the group except one time in three years. That was to ask that no one open their cans of soda pop inside the room during the meeting. It made a lot of noise and was distracting others. “We must learn to put others first.”
In three years we grew to about 700 on Sundays and about 500 for prayer meetings. The prayer meetings were also wild. But, powerful.
I do not know how this applies to the statement,”decently and in order”, but the Holy Spirit sure did get a lot done.
Then, all hell broke loose. But, that is a subject for another time.
