Beloved, today the Lord quickened this scripture to me and its corresponding meaning in the Kingdom of God age that is now dawning in our midst. Jesus made this statement in John 10:10.

“The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

That is what this post is about. In spending time with the Lord, the Holy Spirit had me examine this statement by Jesus in a deeper way.

The first part of Jesus statement defined the devil’s and his cohorts’ work, to steal, kill and destroy us. His plan is to keep us from true spiritual life provided us by the saving work of Jesus Christ on the cross. He desires for us to die in our sins.

However, if we do accept salvation through Jesus Christ, the devil work intensifies. He come to steal, kill, and destroy the true abundant kingdom life Jesus came to restore to us.

The spirit of God is right now forming us into a kingdom of priest and kings to our God. We are becoming a holy nation and a royal priesthood destined to rule and reign with him as priest and kings on the earth.

We are beginning to walk in our full kingdom dominion power and authority on the earth as Jesus takes his full grown headship and connect it with his developing full grown body of sons and daughters.

The Lord has come to finish us. He has come to establish His kingdom life as being “more” abundant in the hearts of his full grown sons and daughters. He is at work within his sons and daughters to bring all things together in heaven and on the earth in unity with the Father’s purposes.

His intention is for his full grown bride to rule and reign with him forever and ever and have dominion over the earth. The word dominion means the Kings domain. Beloved, He has come to reveal his kingdom overcoming dominion life through and in his full grown sons and daughters. This is the “more abundant life He has come to give us.

2 Thes. 1:9-10,They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His might, 10 on the day He comes to be glorified in His saints and regarded with wonder by all who have believed, including you who have believed our testimony. They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His might.”

Beloved of the Lord, As Jesus reveals himself in his full grown sons and daughters, He will impart the full true abundant kingdom life to those who will receive it. He will give us his overcoming victorious life and we will have it more abundantly to rule and reign with him.

In this kingdom abundant life Jesus is establishing his true kingdom power and dominion over the earth through these maturing sons and daughter.  These sons and daughters will work together with him in transforming the kingdoms of this earth into the kingdoms of our Lord in Christ.

A deep finishing work of the Spirit is here.

Beloved, There is a deep “finishing work” the Spirit of God is bringing forth today in His sons and daughters that is releasing the full dimension of abundant life that Jesus came to give us. Jesus said in John 10: 10 but I have come to give you life, and that you might have that life more abundantly.

Today, the Holy Spirit had me read this statement several times and said I came to give you life, and for you to have that life more abundantly. Why did Jesus not just say, I have come to give you abundant life as one thought?

The break in this statement and the emphasis on life and then life more abundant is a key to understanding the work the Holy Spirit is doing to bring forth the full dimension of the kingdom of God life in his people.

Jesus said, I have come for you to have life. That life is our initial born again experience life we get when we are saved. The further description of that life is called “more abundant life.” That life is the fullness of true Kingdom of God life living in his overcoming full grown sons and daughters. That more abundant life is to completely restore us back to our place Adam had with God in the Garden.

That abundant life includes us being married to the Lord as being one with him as Jesus prayed for us. That abundant life manifests in His kingdom power and authority giving us dominion over the earth.

Why did Jesus say that he came to give us life and to have that life more abundantly? He speaks these terms in a hidden way to reveal to those who will seek him diligently He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the end.

When we accept Jesus as our savior we receive new creation life. To receive the fullness of this abundant kingdom life we must go deeper in him. We must give Jesus the entity of our life as a living sacrifice. In that sacrifice we are willing to completely come under his headship and authority.

It is here that Jesus becomes more than our savior (life). He becomes our “Lord Jesus Christ” (abundant life). Jesus can now take his rightful place as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That is the glory and power he imparts to us as we surrender our life fully to him, and we are positioned to receive more life called (abundant life).

Jesus not only came to give us life but He came to give us abundant life.

Beloved, the life we receive when we are born again must grow. It must grow up into the head Jesus Christ until we can say with the Apostle Paul, “I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, but not I, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME! That is abundant kingdom life.

It is Jesus living his life fully in his body as he lived in his single body 2000 years ago. John the Baptist understood this when he prayed, “I must decrease and He must increase. John realized that Jesus was the way, truth, and the life and for him to truly live, his life had to decrease and Jesus life in us has to increase.

The church in its present state of being will never walk in the fullness of this abundant life without a divine intervention from God. Most Christians are waiting for the rapture so they can go up and get out of their problems and be with Jesus. In that mindset, many continue to live their life as they want with a religious spiritual covering over them. I will explain that more shortly.

Jesus said he came to give us life and to have that life abundantly. Being saved or born again restores our spiritual life but only as an infant. Being born again does not automatically give us full grown mature “abundant life.”

That comes by our willingness to embrace fully the life of Christ and Jesus being our Lord and not just savior. In the next couple of post I want to share how the Spirit of God desires to work to bring that deeper abundant kingdom life into reality in his maturing sons and daughters.

A New Creation Life

Beloved, in the light of this revealed truth of abundant life, 2nd Corinthians 5:17 takes on a much deeper meaning, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

In receiving forgiveness from our sins through the sacrifice Jesus paid for us on the cross, we receive the “alpha God” life or the restored breath of God that Adam lost in the garden. We now can relate to God in a personal way.

That is what Jesus says, that this is first work of the life he has to give. But, then Jesus goes on to say and to have that life more abundantly. That life is his life completely restoring us back to our original place that Adam had, of having dominion over the earth with the Lord.

This abundant kingdom life has to be gained by us overcoming. The first part of that life our salvation is a “free gift from God.” The Bible says It is not of ourselves but it is a gift from God. The second portion of what abundant kingdom life can only be found by those who are willing to become over-comers as saints who are married to the Lord.

That is why Revelation chapters 1-3 are key to receiving and experiencing true kingdom abundant life. These chapters speak to the body of Christ with a call to return to our first love. It ends with Jesus standing at the door knocking and inviting us into the marriage supper of the lamb offering abundant life to all those who will enter this deep intimate supping with him.

In Revelation chapters 1-3 Jesus reveals to the church its true spiritual condition. Much of what Jesus says to the churches is that “I know your works.” Most of these so called works are not received by Jesus at all, and in some churches only some parts of the work are received.

In almost all the churches mentioned in chapters 2 and 3, you will hear a call to repent. If we say yes to that call, the Lord then gives an offer of finding the true abundant kingdom life to those who will learn to overcome. Listen to the abundant life offered throughout these 3 chapters. How many have truly found this life?

Revelation 2: 7: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”

Revelation 2:11:  “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. He that overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”

Revelation 2:17: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows save he that receives it.”

Revelation 2:26: “And he that overcomes and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations, 27 and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers, even as I have received from My Father.28 And I will give him the morning star.”

Revelation 3:5 5: He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”

Revelation 3:12 12: Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more; and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and I will write upon him My new name.”

Revelation 3:21: “To him that overcomes, will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with My Father on His throne.”

Beloved, all of these rewards are given to those who overcome. Those that allow Jesus to work his overcoming life in them will find the “more abundant life” that Jesus promised to give in power, authority, and full dominion restoring us on the earth. He gives that full abundant life to those who have learned how to overcome. These developing saints will find their final spiritual position of sitting with Jesus on his throne in overcoming love and power.

Beloved, the abundant life that Jesus offers us is our full Kingdom of God life as God gave to Adam in the garden, to take complete dominion over the earth. True abundant Kingdom life is our developing ability to win or finish the race.

The ones who will allow Jesus to finish them with this more abundant life will be called to rule and reign with him on the earth. True abundant life in us will allow us to be filled with the glory that He was given. This abundant life of love brings us into the unity of the Spirit so we can be one with him.

In that oneness with God’s purpose, plan, and destiny we will transform the kingdoms of this world into the kingdoms of our God in Christ.

New Spiritual Territory

This divine position is a new spiritual position that requires us to walk in a new spiritual territory and terrain. The Holy Spirit is working now to position us, train us, equip us and finish us to walk in this new spiritual territory.

In the next post we will see the “actual training” the Lord has now released to work that work in all those who will enter the transforming marriage supper of the lamb as offered in Rev. 3:20. Jesus said, “If any man be in Christ, He is a NEW CREATION!” Most of us understand to a degree what that means from the church age teaching.

However, it means so much more from the Kingdom age reality that the Lord is now working in his full grown sons and daughters. Jesus said, not only we would be a new creation but he reveals the process that he will bring now in our lives for us to have that life more abundantly. He said, OLD THINGS WILL PASS AWAY AND ALL THING BECOME NEW! That is what the Spirit of God is now working in his full grown sons and daughters.

Understanding that work and cooperating with it is key for us to enter the fullness of abundant life that Jesus desires to bring in his full grown mature body. This mature head. Jesus, will now be connected to a mature body and He will work in them and through them to transform the kingdoms of this world into the Kingdoms of our God in Christ.
