Vision

In recent weeks, I have been sensing that many are overwhelmed by what is happening in the world. Holy Spirit has been speaking strongly to me that we need to stay focused on the Lord and continue to do what He has called us to do. He has been reminding me of visions and dreams I’ve had in the past that brought clear focus; one vision is particularly relevant.

In my vision, I was on a journey in a large company of people. I could see many ahead of me, and there were many more behind – men, women and children. We were moving toward a distant vista that was glowing in amber light, as if through a lens of clear honey. The golden light illuminated everything, from the vegetation near the path we were on to the varied shades of green in the hills beyond.

The colors were vibrant and intense – much more so than any I have ever seen in the natural. Everything had this golden light cast upon it, and the light toward which we were walking was magnetic in its beauty, rich and radiant. We were elevated as we walked along a ridge line. To our left was a deep valley; on our right, a steep ravine with towering cliffs on the other side. We were focused and intent, not hurriedly rushing, but walking with purpose toward our destination.

I heard a sound, a rumbling vibration. The sound began to build in intensity, and I became aware that it was the thundering of a multitude of horses running. I looked to the left, into the valley; as far as my eyes could see, there were armies upon armies advancing toward us, with dark horses carrying riders in dark hooded robes that covered their faces. The riders carried long spears with razor-sharp tips. The horses were creating great clouds of dust over the valley.

Looking ahead, I saw that there was no darkness where we were headed; in fact, the light seemed to intensify. I began to feel fear when I looked at the armies advancing toward us. Some of the others in our company were starting to run and scream; as they ran, they fell. Others tripped over them, also falling to the ground, causing more wounding and delays.

Stay in the Light

I heard, “Do not fear. Stay in the light. If you stay in the light and continue moving with Me, I will take you to your destination. In My light, the enemy cannot touch you. Darkness cannot enter the light. Light dispels darkness. Stay in the light.”

The armies drew closer and began to race up the mountain toward us. When they began to draw near, it was as if a magnetic force repelled them, and they fell backward, plunging to the ground and destroying each other in frustration.

I was immediately reminded of John 12:35 (KJV), where Jesus said, “…Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.” (Photo via Pxhere)

We have to keep our focus on what God is doing and what He has called us to do in the midst of the darkness we see – not on what the world system is doing.

Jesus told us the agenda of the enemy – to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). We are hearing world leaders speak of recession, food shortages, global pandemics, etc., but we are to hear, believe and be led by the Word and the Spirit of the LIVING God. The god of this world desires to instill fear and doubt, compelling us to turn to his world for answers. These distractions are designed to detour, derail and displace us from God’s Kingdom!

“Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the Cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Heb. 12:2 AMPC)

Focus on Him: God’s Glory Is Rising and His Kingdom Is Advancing!

The Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus said it over 2,000 years ago, and it is still at hand – right here, right now, in our midst. Look to Him! In the midst of gross darkness, His glory is rising and His Kingdom is advancing. Keep your eyes on the King and His Kingdom, casting down everything that opposes truth! Unbelief will take you out; it’s time to cast down all fear and doubt.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” (2 Cor. 10:3-6 NKJV)

We are in the world but not of it (John 17:16). We are citizens of a spiritual Kingdom being made manifest here in the earth as we make Jesus known and do the works He did, and continues to do through us. In the midst of worldly chaos and confusion, we are in a set time of favor to advance the Kingdom of God!

“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.” (Ps. 102:13-14 KJV)

For those of us who love the King and His Kingdom, favor is ours; Kingdom resources and blessings are not contingent on the world system. As we stay in faith and obedience, we will see God’s hand of favor bringing all that we need, as we seek first and foremost His Kingdom.

“But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matt. 6:33 KJV)

“But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19 KJV)

I have seen, over and over, that when I am focused on the Lord and His Kingdom purposes for my life – walking in faith and obedience – His favor and provision are open to me. In the midst of the darkness of the world and circumstances that bring distractions and problems, we are seeing God move mightily in our ministry through answered prayers, healings and supernatural encounters. These “problems” are opportunities for God to show up!

The Living One Who Sees Me

I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “Don’t be misled by the circumstances in which you find yourself, for even during trials and tribulation I will bring forth all you need. Don’t be as Hagar, with your vision blocked by unbelief – not seeing My provision in front of you! Even now as you hear this word, eyes are being opened. Angelic help has come to reveal what was heretofore hidden.(Photo via Unsplash)

Hagar is significant. Hagar’s vision was was blocked, but then she had an encounter with the Lord. She saw Him as Beer-lahai-roi, which means the “well of the Living One who sees me” (Gen. 16:14). She also received a promise that from her son, Ishmael, multitudes would come forth. Fifteen years later, she and Ishmael were in the wilderness and near death. Ishmael cried out; God heard and opened Hagar’s eyes to see the well of water that was already there. She had not seen it because of her despair.

When we are in a difficult situation, we often focus on the problem and forget God’s promises. Negativity causes us go into unbelief and lose sight of His faithfulness, His goodness, His Kingdom provision for every need and His way of escape from every temptation.

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Cor. 10:13 KJV)

In the vision I shared, the way of escape was staying in the light; focusing on the glory of God and His Kingdom; seeing Jesus with us and leading the way. Stay in faith! We must keep our eyes on the Lord and what He is doing. Paul exhorts us to look not at what is seen but the eternal reality, and that what we endure for the Kingdom is being worked for eternal glory.

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Cor. 4:17-18 NKJV)

He Is Opening New Doors

I heard this word of the Lord, and now I declare it to you: “My Spirit and My angelic help are moving quickly to open your eyes to the provision at hand. For I am establishing connections for fulfillment of My determined purposes. Get ready for new connections and new paths. Listen and follow closely, for I will open doors before you, even those that were previously closed. Watch, see and enter doors of influence, for you are coming into the fullness of time, and acceleration is upon you.”

“My Kingdom is in your midst; keep your eyes on Me. I am outside of time. I bring resources into time for My Kingdom to be established and your needs to be met as you go about My business. In the world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Look to Me and overcome negative mindsets and worldly narratives – the spirit of lack, doubt and unbelief.

“In Me, move and live and have your being, with your eyes focused on Me – ears alert to My voice. I will lead you in the way everlasting and bring forth, through you, the works that I ordained for you to walk in before the world began.”
