    Whatever We Ask..

     

    1Jn 5:14-15 (NIV) This is the confidence we have in approaching

    God: that if we <u>ask anything according to his will</u>, he hears us. 

    And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know

    that we have what we asked of him.

     

    What is so hard for us to understand about that scripture?

    As Christians of the universal body of Christ, should we not have petitioned God for what we desired of Him that was… <u>in accordance with His</u> will by now and seen the full manifestation of His Kingdom come, in earth as it is in Heaven.  Why then, have we corporately fallen back and not progressed from a position of one accord, in our very beginnings?

    Why, now, are Christians corporately so lacking in unity and agreement with one another on even the milk doctrines of God’s word and still lack a basic united understanding of God’s will for the Church in the earth?    (Continue reading)
