An Apostolic Meeting with 100 Year Old Arthur Burt.

OK, now we are out of the old system, as some of us have been ‘out’ for many years… so what is next? Much of today’s prophetic voice centers upon recognizing the traps, ineffectiveness and staid traditions of the ‘old church system,’ yet offer little in the way of new direction. Many, like me, have wandered and wondered preferring life in the wilderness to death in the organizations of men (Babylon). The world’s system is dead, lacking any ability to produce or sustain life, whether in ministry or the marketplace (where I am called).

Much understanding has been gleaned and shared as to ‘what the old wineskin looks like,’ yet now we anxiously wait for the emergence of the new wineskin. We are keenly aware that no new wine will be poured into an old wineskin – and we crave the new wine of the Spirit! I am getting a taste. Test (taste) this! First and foremost, anything that doesn’t align itself with the words “God said” is subject to close scrutiny. My greatest Christian failures have been fraught in the ‘presumption of noble purpose.’ We are living in a time of ‘specifics,’ as God is building His temple brick by brick - this temple has no room for ‘good works’ (or any work) that did not originate in “God said.” As 100 year old Arthur Burt says, “It is never about what you do, but rather why you do it; and if ‘God said’ isn’t in the equation your good works will bear no real fruit.” Timing now has an incredible connection to God’s specific directional instruction. With wisdom (God’s general direction), get understanding (timing and specifics).

The temple God is building has incredibly detailed specifications – take heart to these specifics. Each individual part (of the Body) has a detailed part to play that must be followed to insure that the Body ‘join’ (connect) for specific purpose. Specific purpose will almost always follow God-appointed connection. Specific purpose is tied to specific connection. This is the key ingredient in manifesting a bride without spot or wrinkle. Obedience is the key, as one can never be holy in Dallas if they are called to be righteous in Cleveland.

Those who have been ‘out’ for a while recognize ‘connections’ are taking place that are aligned in specific purpose. God-appointed ‘Gatherings’ are literally pulling people (parts) together worldwide, which are producing the formation of a Corporate Body. As this alignment matures, ‘purpose’ will ignite. The initial signs of purpose are aligned in seeking an understanding of the new wine skin in which the new wine can be poured. The ultimate result of this will be a move of God without ebb. In his early years, Centurion Arthur Burt had a vision that “a move of God would come into the earth that would be without ebb.” It would release the last great move God in the earth that many believe to be ‘The Kingdom.’ The Kingdom on earth is simply God’s Way in operation in His people – a way that has abandoned the systems of men (adopting His Way). Arthur was told (in the vision) that he would be left in the earth long enough to see its beginning!

I am seeing God’s Way launched in business as my once ‘bank dependent’ system has now evolved into total dependence upon God. I am seeing God’s hand in our local Body as ministries are being raised up and acknowledged, as the emphasis is upon flowing with God instead of programs. True worship is not confused with entertainment as saints are being taught to hear God for themselves instead of running to Pastor. We remain migrants with a migratory nature rather than immigrants looking for a place to settle. We are ‘on the ready’ to move at a moment’s notice, with little intent on carving out a religious niche in our community. Our primary emphasis is people and our primary purpose is pointing them to a relationship with God. Intimacy, hearing and obeying, is the heart of the Kingdom and the message of the Kingdom has replaced the message of salvation.

Thought to share this as an encouragment. It's a dream which I had and at the time, had no idea who Arthur Burt was or that some actually call him "Uncle." I am copying and pasting what I shared on another post with no editing. Be blessed! : )
