Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters

Do not become weary
Do not lose heart
Continue to cast your ‘bread’ upon the waters
Bread upon the waters attracts fish
Bread is prepared to be eaten, softened by the water.

Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and
with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the
name of His Father written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from
heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud
thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists
playing on their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and
before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the
song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been
purchased from the earth. – Rev 14:1-3

Do not give up, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to
it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it
yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes
out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish
what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. –Isa 55:10-11

Do not become weary in doing good
Continue to cast your ‘bread’ upon the waters!
With the voice of many waters, continue to cast your ‘bread’
It will not return void!

The expression “cast your bread on the surface of the waters", is taken
from the custom of sowing seed by casting it from boats into overflowing
rivers, or in marshy ground. When the waters recede, the grain will fall to
the soil and in due time spring up producing more seed.

Ecclesiastes 11:1-6   Cast your bread upon the waters, for after
many days you will find it again.

Give portions to seven, yes to eight, for you do not know what disaster
may come upon the land.

If clouds are full of water, they pour rain upon the earth. Whether a tree
falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there will it
lie.

Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will
not reap. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is
formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things.

Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether
both will do equally well.

Galatians 6:9-10
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at
the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as
we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who
belong to the family of believers.

Yes I receive your word also Karen, but I'm having trouble because of the instruction about "not casting your pearls before swine" because the Word says to be an example toward all people (in and out of season) whether it's received or not... I do try to encourage people in all walks of life and  do need more discernment.

Hope you can clarify...  it's discouraging sometimes when yo see no results or spiritual growth. Thank you for the encouragement. God bless!

The big question is how to discern swine ....

How can we discern between someone who is antagonistic, but open, and
someone who is close-minded and hardened?

.... only the Holy Spirit can give this discernment.

Praise God -He can make even dead bones live!

Reading your original post again, I realize that you already answered my question...

God bless your obedience Karen!
